Had tee times for 32 guys and got them canceled for a Saturday morning because they say they block 7:30 to 9:00 every Saturday for certain groups. Won't ever go back to the course again.

Nice course with enough water and bunkers to make it interesting, but, no PGA card needed to play it.

The club house restaurant and bar has a good menu and a assortment of micro brewery beers to help with the 19 hole for lunch.

Played with a threesome on a Friday afternoon behind a fivesome. Called to alert the pro shop and was told they allow fivesomes at any time. A ranger came out and did NOTHING!. The group would not let us play through so we were looking at a 5 1/2 hour round.

This is a great little golf course hidden south of Jordan MN, It's a funky place where the
"Ridge" is an open area where you can swing quite freely, but its not much to look at.
The "Sand Creek" lower portion is far prettier, but had a couple or 3 funky holes.
And over all, it's worth the trip. only 45 minutes from Downtown MPLS. Fairways are nicely groomed and the greens are quick for a public course. Played it this May after no rain in three weeks and the green couldn't hold most shots. but still a very good tract.

This is one of the nicer courses you are going to find in Minnesota south of the metro area. It is a bit far out if you are in the Twin Cities, and you'll pay a bit more for the quality, but this is still an affordable, beautiful place to hit the links.

Getting There:
US169, exit at Jordan and drive north of town. Ample parking is available in their paved lot.

Pros:
- Well-groomed
- Standard Training facilities
- Challenging, and fun holes
- Varied terrain
- Decent clubhouse

Cons:
- The clubhouse is not much above average
- The food is not above average either
- You'll spend more than other courses in the area

Great golf course that rivals many in the state. The front nine is pretty open and the back nine cuts some beautiful paths near Sand Creek.

The Ridges has a wonderful Sunday Brunch with plenty of choices. A beautiful place with a gorgeous view out the windows overlooking the golf course. I've been there many times and never have been disappointed. Wedding receptions, funeral brunch, showers, fund raisers with dinners and silent auction....they can accommodate anything with ease!

In late September I played The Ridges of Sand Creek, on County 21, just south of Jordan, MN. What a beautiful day it was, and this being the first time I have played this course I was very impressed. Upon first appearance it looks to be a prairie style, open course, but the first two holes takes you down to the Sand Creek amongst the mature trees along an active railroad track.

The Creek winds back and forth creating a challenge for a golf course architect, but resulting in a very pleasant and challenging golf experience. This course is especially beautiful in the autumn with the oaks and maples filled with color. The back nine also starts at the club house but quickly returns to the creek with similar holes as the front nine. There are a few forced lay ups, especially from the front tees on the back nine that make it difficult, especially if you have never played it before. There is one very short pare three, (121 from the back tees!) that must be there because it is the only kind of hole that would fit the terrain.

The practice facilities are very good and the club house comfortable and friendly. The price is reasonable making this a very good value, especially for a beautiful and well conditioned course.
