We visited here early June following our American friend who was travelling with us infomred our group about the Irish/American connection in this little quiet little village of Moneygal, Co Offaly.
The cafe\restaurant is inviting and we were lucky enough to have some sun so we sat on the terrace and enjoyed a tasty lunch including toasted Panini with chips, and some lovely home made bakewell tarts.
This lovely cafe provided the best possible midway stop off point for us driving from Limerick to Dublin.
The staff were friendly and well informed on local knowledge etc and the owner/manager Paul provided directions for lost tourists like us - which was greatly appreciated hence we will be back for sure.
