Boreham House Bed and Breakfast
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 19 April 2014

We stayed at Boreham House for two nights over Easter in the Ashburnham room. We had a wonderful time from the moment we arrived with a warm welcome from the lovely hosts Simon and Sara. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, amazingly comfy bed, great shower, toiletries and lovely little touches like an Easter egg on our pillow. Great breakfast with loads of choice and delicious fresh fruit. We did part of the 1066 walk, which I'd recommend and it starts just outside. Overall our stay at Boreham House was great, it's well worth the money and I'd highly recommend it.

Fantastic in every possible way. The owners went over and above any expectations to make me feel at home and comfortable. Great breakfast, The building and grounds are stunning, I can't fault it.

Thank you Sara and Simon and I will be back again for sure!

Staying at Boreham House is a true luxury. The rooms are well finished, chic and spacious. There is a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere that permeates all areas of this beautiful house. The service is impeccable, with both Sara and Simon being lovely hosts. Breakfast was beautiful, as were Sara's homemade cakes!

Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to visit very soon!

Superb house- lovingly and painstakingly restored after years of neglect and you can see how much love and attention to detail has gone in to making this a luxury B&B. Simon and Sara are a delightful couple - warm, welcoming, attentive and great hosts.
Fabulous views and a stones throw from the pub that does great food. It is fantastic to be able to stay within a great community with lots of local places of interest on the door stop - next trip we want to come back and do a wine tour. Thoroughly recommend staying here

Room Tip: The room at the back has lovely views

We stayed at Boreham House in June this year. We were made to feel very welcome and our every need was catered for. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was everything we would have had at home and more! We were not disturbed by traffic outside despite having a room at the front. We would recommend BH without any hesitation and hope one day to visit Sara and Simon again.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful house. Warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, Sara and Simon have done an amazing job in creating a truly luxury bed and breakfast.
The rooms have been finished to the highest standard and the grounds are lovely. Breakfast didn't disappoint either, our children were particularly fond of the sausages which came from a farm down the road! They were also delighted with the delicious cakes that appeared every afternoon - a very thoughtful and much appreciated touch!
A perfect location for relaxing in the country and exploring the Sussex Coast, we will be recommending Boreham House to everyone we know!

We stayed at Boreham House and were warmly welcomed into a recently renovated, delightful Georgian house. Simon and Sara have lovingly restored this beautiful property, and are now sharing it with their guests. We originally booked for 4 nights but decided to add a further night as we were more than happy with the room/service they offered. If we are in the South East in the future, we would not hesitate to stay with them again.

Room Tip: They have 3 rooms all of which offer very good value and high quality furnishings, if you are lookin...
