We highly recommend Anna V's B&B. Susie and Steve Harris are fantastic hosts and the food is the best, especially the home baked cookies! Susie knows how to cook!!! The home is beautifully maintained and decorated through out. We loved the Heritage Suite and all the special touches in it to make you feel like you had turned back time. We will be back!

Steve and Susie were outstanding hosts and the house is beautiful. The attention to all the small details was fantastic, from the welcome refreshments to the cookies at departure. The breakfasts were fit for royalty.

We looked forward to our stay at Anna V's this summer. We were not disappointed with our stay. Susie met us on the porch with a warm greeting, lemonade, and homemade cookies.(yum) The attention to details at Anna V's continued through the stay. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend a stay at Anna V's if your planning a trip to Lanesboro.

We've stayed at many B&Bs and Anna V's is among the best. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It had its own air conditioner which was essential as the days we were there were sultry.

Breakfasts were outstanding and included fresh raspberries from the garden and freshly made raspberry jam. Suzie accommodated our dietary needs, not just low carbs but my dislike of onions and peppers.

Excellent B&B. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Anna V's for three nights in late July 2010. Susie and Steve were very considerate, caring hosts who shared their beautiful home and offered many special touches. We enjoyed the delicious organic breakfasts and afternoon snacks, the restored Victorian setting with beautiful flowers and landscaping, plus the helpful information about things to do in the area. Lanesboro, Minneosta offers a very pretty (and easy) bike trail along the Root River, a professional theater company with varied shows and concerts and beautiful farmland with Amish villages and businesses close by. From the porch, you can even hear the local cows lowing as they leave their barn and return at night. It is a wonderful escape.
Steve and Susie really go above and beyond to provide the special touches which made out stay so special and relaxing - opportunities to read on the quiet porch and balcony, recommendations for restaurants and places of interest., and a beautiful, quiet setting. Rusty, their beautiful, well mannered Irish Setter, even joined us at the park and on the porch for a few minutes to add to the enjoyment of our stay.
The morning newsletter was an especially nice touch, helping us plan for the weather and local events,as well as providing bright commentary about local life in general.
We hope to return!
