“Hit or miss”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 November 2013 via mobile

My wife and I made the trip from the cites to Gunflint this last week. We stopped on Sunday Nov 10th and our sandwiches and coffee were Awesome. On our way back from Gunflint we stopped on Nov 15th and the cappuccino was so so and the lady missed a handful of ingredients for our sandwiches. So I think we will need one more try to statistically make our decision.

“The quintessential coffee house.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 September 2013

Awesome coffee and made-from-scratch eats. I see some gripes about the wifi, but it's not the coffee shop--it's the north shore. In that respect, it's probably the best wifi in town.

Also, aren't you on vacation? Stop worrying about the wifi and enjoy a scone for crying out loud! :)

“Good Coffee, slow internet, pricey food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 September 2013

The coffee here is good and reasonably priced. But the internet is really slow. I wanted to pop in and sync my e-mail and it took at least 20-30 minutes. The breakfast sandwiches are too expensive for what they are. If you want something to nibble on, stick to the baked goods.

“Home made goodies, slow internet but free”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2013

There are fresh home made goodies made every morning (the evening before), free internet but slow, the items are on the pricy side but so are everywhere else on the North Shore.
