Food and service were excellent. great place for a special dinner. For periodic dinner it is extremely expensive, more like a Mortons. So Unless you are in the 1% you will want to plan your trips here. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and will go back........in the future

This is my favorite local restaurant. A little pricey but the food is always good. And they have a good wine list. Great venue for business dinners, Sunday brunch or romantic evenings.

While visiting family in Minneapolis we stopped at Pittsburgh Blue, after being seated on the patio we were promptly greeted by a server who called himself Big Dave. Dave was friendly and funny and most of all, very knowledgeable about the menu. When we couldn't decide on an appetizer he recommended the seafood appetizer platter with buffalo shrimp, coconut shrimp, calamari, and a crab cake. All of which was outstanding. Then when we asked for recommendations, he provided excellent descriptions of several menu items which all sounded great. I finally settled on the Monte Cristo which as described, was the best Monte Cristo of my life. And as a side, a lobster bisque that was to die for.

We had wanted to eat at Biaggi's Italian but they were closing early because of the 4th of July it was 930 so this was the next option. My husband ordered the prime rib sandwich and French onion soup it was fantastic I ordered the lettuce wedge and lobster chowder soup and the soup was very tasty but good of been hotter and what can I say about the lettuce wedge it's lettuce we would try a steak next time no matter what you have everything is expensive but what we seen looked good

Our service was pretty good although not as good as we have had in the past. Not sure if the server was just having an off night or if, that was his normal attitude. Certainly service was not as good as we have had in the past.
