Owner description: The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is closed for renovation, and will reopen in June 2017. One of the crown jewels of the city’s park system, the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden unites two of Minnesota’s most cherished resources—its greenspace and its cultural life. A partnership with the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board, the Garden is a top destination for tourists to enjoy art like the iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry in an outdoor park setting.

“A wonderful place to explore - surprises around every corner!”
Reviewed 8 June 2012

There is so much famous art tucked into every corner of this huge park. Be sure to get a map before going or you'll miss a lot! Also, by mid-summer, there is an unusual garden at the back that will be in full bloom.

“Nice, But Not Thrilling”
Reviewed 5 June 2012

It was a nice 20 minute stop. We could walk around in peaceful surroundings. The kids could run (but not climb on anything - except one sculpture that was a swing platform that was chained down so it rocked a little). We really liked the spoon and the horse sculpture out of wood. We went on a Monday so the indoor areas were closed.
