Outstanding, as ever. Great food choices, including loads for GF a member of our party. The service is just great. The staff are so attentive and friendly. Five stars all round.

Have just been for a wonderful evening meal consisting of 2 families with children of varying ages. Staff wonderful and polite, helpful and engaging. The food was delicious, massive portions and a great selection to choose from (including gluten free). We will be sure to return.

The owner’s attitude is horrible and rude person. The owner’s attitude is horrible and rude person. Unbelievable she treat the customer rudely, special with foreigners like us. We didn’t do wrong any things but why she treat us like that. We booked a table outside with service foods yesterday on phone and we came to restaurant and the waitress told us to come to bar to wait and she will sort it out for us. The another waiter gave us table inside and the they reliazed that they made mistake and they told us ho back to garden… so we have to move and wait outside... later on the owner came and she shout at us like we lie to her about booking table..We tried to talked gently and explain, even our language is not good enough but she still kept raise her voice, bully us.. and all the customers around have to pay attention to us… and made us felt embarrassed.. we came to eat and pay.. we not begging her foods.. this is the last times we will come to her restaurant. even her food is delicious or put gold in steak… we will never and ever come back again.. we work in service as well and we never treat our customer who is not English or English the same .. happy and welcome xxx Unbelievable she treat the customer rudely . ,

We went here on recommendation and we’re not disappointed. As we arrived we were immediately greeted and offered a choice of tables outside as we had not booked. The staff were attentive and we were never left waiting or wondering where they were. What a credit to the place they were. The food was fantastic. We had 3 meals and all of them were perfect. I did read a review on here about the burger not being good - I have to completely differ to that - my son is an expert, and he said it was amazing and good quality. The view is lovely and facing west so the added bonus of a sunset! Would definitely recommend and go again if in the area

We visited here with two adults and two kids (10 and 13). We booked a table and were promptly showed to our table. The staff were really lovely, friendly and attentive. Our table was cleared quickly and the drinks and food orders were taken promptly. The pub is really lovely inside and outside there is lots of seating, a football pitch for the kids and a play area. There is also lots of parking. After reading the food reviews we were really keen to try here Sadly all four of us did not enjoy the food. The beef burgers tasted like very poor quality, frozen type and not freshly made. The bottom of the burger bun was soggy due to the grease. I didn’t feel charging £1 extra for a slice of cheese and £1 extra for a slice of bacon was value for money. My sons fish and chips (children’s portion) was super small in comparison to other places and he didn’t enjoy the taste. Pulled pork burger was also really greasy. For two drinks each and only a main course each (including two kids meals) we paid £77. I don’t mind paying those prices if the food is good, however we were sadly let down. As locals we often visit pubs for dinner but we’re left wanting after visiting here, due to the poor food and expensive price for what we got.
