The room was nice and clean. Would stay again if I was in the area. Michele who checked me in was great! Breakfast was OK, not great. Americinn has a great pet policy which is important to me. So for the price I don't think you can go wrong.

Stayed at this hotel the end of July for 2 nights. Room was as expected, clean and basic. Breakfast was very limited based on other stays at this chain. Hotel choices were somewhat limited in the area I needed to visit, which is the only reason I would recommend this if no other options in the area.

We were just passing through but the bed was comfortable, and the room clean. We did not get to use the pool, but looked nice. Plenty of food places walking distance. Close to the highway for convenience.

Thank you for staying at the AmericInn of North Branch and for completing a TripAdvisor review.

Our property is conveniently located right off Interstate 35. Many of our guests enjoy the fact that they can park their car at the hotel and walk to 6 different food options within a 3 block radius of the hotel.

Next time your driving by, stop in again and stay with us!

If you are one that appreciates a good breakfast in the morning with many extra items, then you should check first before booking room..although I made a point of asking if they served breakfast & what was included in the morning. If breakfast isn't what you think is important for you or your family, than this would give you a quick bite on your way, when your items are pre-done and have to microwaved. Exception being,. make your own waffle...if that is what you like. I am not a waffle person, so that left just the microwave items that were already cooked, but in the cooling section. P.S.- all rooms should have a venting in the bathroom, that they switch on, whether going to bathroom or during a shower/bath, to vent steam.

Thank you for taking the time to complete a survey on TripAdvisor, we value your opinion and your business with AmericInn®. Your comments will help us to do a better job of servicing our guests in the future.

Our breakfast at the AmericInn of North Branch does offer over 20 different breakfast options, but you are correct about serving hot items. Unfortunately, the Minnesota Department of Health does not allow our property to serve any additional hot items. Each city or county has their own government agencies that enforce their own local guidelines regarding food service. Due to the size or our property and the lack of a commercial kitchen we are limited on what we are able to serve.

Even with the lack of hot items, we do receive many compliments on the variety of options including health options such as hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and cottage cheese that we offer in our daily breakfast.

The bathroom vents are controlled by one central fan that runs continuously throughout the day so there is constant ventilation.

Please allow us the opportunity to meet or exceed your expectations on your next visit to the North Branch area.

Thanks again for staying at the AmericInn of North Branch.

I booked two rooms three weeks in advance. One was a king room and one was a handicapped king jacuzzi room. A few days before arriving I received an email stating one of our rooms had an update, and the king room I noticed was updated to two queen beds. I immediately emailed the hotel and stated that reservation was for a king room and that is what we really wanted and originally had. Jack Juve, the manager emailed back that he showed the reservation was for two queen beds. I then forwarded him the reservation to show that I was correct. Every time I also mentioned that I had a handicapped king room. Once again he showed I had two queens, but stated that it adjoined to the handicapped king room. I emailed back that okay we would have to live with that.

Imagine our total surprise when we arrived the desk clerk total us we had no handicapped room. To say the least we were disappointed and shocked. To top it off the desk clerk was indifferent, for lack of a better word. Now to a handicapped person that kind of a room is huge. To top it off we were paying a little more for it. After scrambling to find the reservation on our phone and trying to figure out what to do and going back and forth, she finally told us she could make a handicapped room. Sorry we didn't get the desk clerk's name, but she was a blonde woman. When both of us couples went to our rooms, we had a handicapped two queen bed room and the other couple had the handicapped king jacuzzi room and they did not adjoin. That couple was suppose to have the king room in the original reservation.

We were heading to a concert in Hinkley so put our things in the room and headed out. Other than that disappointment the hotel was clean and had new carpet and linens. The air conditioning unit is loud. Breakfast is average. Restaurants or fast food are in the area. Outlet mall is across the freeway. Price is reasonable.

Thank you for your comments concerning your visit to the AmericInn® of North Branch.

First, let me apologize for the frustration that you experienced. It is certainly not acceptable for any of our guests to leave an AmericInn® location with the feelings and perceptions that you shared on your TripAdvisor Survey.

As we discussed via email earlier this week, the non smoking king room had request/notes on the reservation saying request first floor and using wheelchair. This room type is only available on the second floor. So we changed the room to our standard room with 2 queen beds to ensure that it would be first floor. The second reservation was the the handicap whirlpool suite king on the first floor as well. I was able to get the 2 rooms with connecting door on first floor.

The front desk person who checked you in was confused on room types and didn't realize that the whirlpool suite was handicapped accessible which led to your in-laws checking into the handicap suite instead of you.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and I hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to notify me of the details of your experience, we value your opinion and your business with AmericInn®. Your comments will help us to do a better job of servicing our guests in the future.

I stayed at the hotel on Wednesday night while traveling on business. All rooms were just renovated with new carpet, furniture, beds, etc. Great place to stay between Duluth and Minneapolis, whether traveling for business or pleasure. Staff was fantastic as well!

Thank you for staying at the AmericInn of North Branch.

My staff and I are very proud of our remodel. All of our guest rooms have been refreshed with new furniture, new carpet, and new paint. We had also replaced the beds and televisions less than a year ago.

We look forward to having you as our guest again in the future.

We entertained grandchildren and taught them to swim in the lovely pool. Staff was over the top. Ann brought kids cookies, DeeAnn made hot chocolate for little ones in the morning. All the while undergoing a partial renovation. Even the folks laying the carpet were patient with all of us coming back and forth a couple of times. Stress free! We will definitely stay here again.
