We had a lovely early fall getaway here with another couple. Our cabin had 3 bedrooms, tho' we only needed two. The bedrooms were good sized for a cabin and the beds were comfortable. Our cabin (#4) overlooked a gorgeous beach on Lower Whitefish Lake. The owner gave us great restaurant recommendations. We ate at Bites one night and I would also recommend this bar/ restaurant. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, drink ware, pots, etc. and had a full size refrigerator. We came to boat on the Whitefish Chain that we love for the scenery and the 3 boat up restaurants! Our boating plans were cut down to one day instead of two because of weather. We didn't mind cuz we went shopping in Nisswa, and then played board games in front of a lovely wood fire. If you're planning a visit here, remember to bring your own bath and kitchen towels as the resort does not provide them. You also need to bring hand, dish and bath soap, as well as paper towels. We were unaware about the soap, etc. so had to borrow some and buy some from the little store. Tip Top is a comfy, down to earth resort at a very fair price.
