If you don't know exactly where this place is, you will miss it even though it is right on the corner.
When you walk through the door you think you're walking into a bar--yes you are but there is a dining room on the side. It's not pretty or fancy but the food is good and the service is above average for a bar setting.
We shared a meal with an extra salad at the salad bar. There is a little of everything including peas and lots of veggies. The blue cheese dressing has to be hand made. Big chunks of cheese and a good tasting creamy dressing. We split a chicken dinner and it was plenty for both of us. The chicken was juicy with a light breading and very crispy on the outside. There was cooked pea pods for the veggie and several choices for potato including tater tots.
The bartender knows how to make a Manhatten and a G & T. The Manhatten comes in a small lowball glass and the G & T comes in a normal drink glass. The prices are good.
Definitely not a romantic place but it would be good for a bunch of people getting together for drinks and dinner.
