“Right on the bike trail, vegetarian option!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2012

Nestled in the cute little town of Peterson, is Judy's Country Kitchen. I've only been here a few times, but each time the food was wonderful! The prices are unbeatable, the people are friendly, and the portions are good! It's conveniently, right off the Root River Bike Trail. Along with the typical food fare, they also have a DELICIOUS vegetarian option - the black bean burger. This is such a nice change to see. Oh, and for dessert - HOMEMADE PIE like you wouldn't believe!
Again - good food, service, food, and prices!

“Great Fish Fry”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2012

Great Fish Fry on Friday night. The food was plentiful, the fish crispy and moist. The service was excellent even though the restaurant was fairly full. I recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

“Nothing fancy, but a good refueling spot”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2012

Small town fare at incredibly cheap prices. Grilled cheese and a malt was a perfect lunch. For some reason the water was nasty tasting (maybe well water and I'm just not used to it) but the canned soft drinks were ice cold which was great on a hot day after 20 miles bicycling.

“Great Place to eat during the bike trip. PIES!!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 October 2011

Bike train form Lanesboro is one of the best once. But we thought there are no places to eat on the way!
Judy's Kitchen is a great place to sop. It is good distance from lanesboro and is very close to the trail.
Also a little beck towards lanesboro there is a big picnic area, so we took out food to go and ate there.
Food is good (general america style), fresh and prepared well. But pies really stand out. People are very caring and nice (they packed everything great for us).
