There were six of us having drinks and dinner at the Veranda. We had drinks before the restaurant opened and there wasn't anyone else seated yet. Rachel the bartender was great. She made a point of learning our names & making sure the drink I ordered was to my liking. Andrew, the chef, was also at the table making small talk. Both Rachel & Andrew were eager to help my friends find vegan options on the menu & adjust the meal if possible. They were great.
I had California Chicken Salad with Banana Dressing, excellent! My husband's Prime Rib sandwich was very tender. I tasted my friends Garganelli pasta and I would order that anytime. Everyone was very satisfied with their meal.
After dinner when Rachel found out we were there to celebrate a birthday & because it wasn't busy yet, she went into hall and sang Happy Birthday to my friend. Rachel & Andrew made the whole meal very memorable.
