We popped in for a late afternoon brew and appy. Our server was great, bringing us a taste of something on tap so we could decide. She was very attentive and did everything one would expect. It also appeared she was responsible for a lot of things, from starting a new keg, to training some newbies. All in all, she did well tending her customers and doing all the other things.
We ordered the Nachos Grande. It was a mistake. I can only slam this dish, as we didn't order anything else. It was simpy awful--from a non-apppetizing appearance to a lousy flavor. The cheese sauce neither tasted cheesy or looked remotely like cheese. There was no spice or kick to the dish. The optional guacamole was bland and tasteless. Simply said, we've never had worse nachos.
It did appear to be moderately popular--the place was getting more and more crowded as the evening went on. Our hope is that we chose the one "loser" item on the menu. I doubt we'll try again, as this was a day trip for us.
The ambiance was nice, and the outdoor patio was nicely shady for late afternoon. We opted for inside, being very sensitive to the humidity.
