I stayed there with the kids (and the puppy!)so Grandma could stay at Jackpot Junction and get her overnight fix. The hotel is an old place. I rate it high for these reasons: the check-in was very quick and friendly, she baked a batch of cookies(which my children loved). They had a great gym considering the age of the place. All lifefitness equipment in perfect working order, with 2 beautiful flat screen tv's. So my teenage kids and I were delighted to at least get a great workout, the room was recently remodeled with "barn board" material on the walls=very chic! The sheets were crisp/white/very fresh, the flat screen tv was great, and the shower had wonderful water pressure. If we were hungry, the hotel shared parking lots with both pizza ranch and a Super-Walmart. So, we slept well, worked out great, and had a fantastic shower. Really, I was pleased given the remote location. On the downside, The room itself was tired and old. The breakfast consisted of donuts, bread, oatmeal packets, and you can make your own Belgium waffle. All the white/processed carbs I won't feed my family. The kids wished there was a pool, but they had a hot tub which was clean.

I stay at this hotel every year for Farmfest. The staff is very accommodating & helpful. Gail the manager is awesome. She lets me send my product there & stores it for me until I get there. She is very sweet & on her toes the whole time I am there. It may not be the Hilton but it's clean & located not far from Farmfest. Only wish the gym room was bigger & more workout machines.

Room Tip: Ask for room with a fridge. Not all rooms have one.

The plumbing in the bathroom was falling apart in both the sink and the shower, but the room was clean. Deluxe breakfast was cereal, milk, toast, bagels. Not very DELUXE. Double sized beds too small, need queen sized beds.Had a coffe maker, but no mini fridge. Not a bad place, but way overpriced for the accommodations.

The hotel lobby was very nice with stone countertops and nice panelling on the walls. The rooms were pretty generic and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. The room was quite cold when we first walked in so we had to have the heater on low for most of the night to stay comfortable, though it seemed to kick on to high in the middle of the night. The beds were pretty comfortable and the room was clean but there is room for improvement in the looks of the room. It was nice that the room had a mini-fridge but where it was placed was awkward (on top of the desk, leaving hardly any room for sitting at the desk in front of the mirror). A really nice touch that we truly appreciated was the front desk called about 10 minutes after we checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. We did report to them that the door to the bathroom was broken and they offered us a new room, which was nice but not needed. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about the folks who worked at the hotel. Very friendly and seemed to really care about the quality of our stay. Thanks!

We stayed here on Fri and Sat. Room was quiet, bed was good, staff friendly. Used the shuttle to Jackpot Junction casino and it was timely. Breakfast was normal fair, fruit or apple juice would of been good, they had orange juice. Overall it was a good value.

It took 40 min for me to get checked in due to mistakes made when we booked. The hotel was "remodeled" but it was easy to tell that several shortcuts were taken. The walls were thin and activity in other rooms and lobby were easily heard. The staff were pleasant and the rooms clean. There were no dust mite covers on the mattresses.

This is a beautiful hotel with nice rooms. The problem is none of the things they advertise on their home page is true. Here is what they say:
"We promise to give prompt attention to your requests and resolve issues and concerns you may have. We also promise that your room will be properly supplied, clean and in excellent repair.

When a mistake happens we will do our best to resolve your concerns immediately. We work as a team to build goodwill with our clientele and in our community. You can rest assure that we will treat you, our guest, in a professional and courteous manner."

This was our experience:
We rented 3 rooms from them for 3 nights when we traveled to Minnesota for our wedding; 1 for our son and one of our mom's.
Mom's room: No refrigerator in her room, which was specifically requested. Moved her to another room (instead of just putting a fridge in her room). New room - shower and sink wouldn't drain - took more than 24 hours to resolve that issue. No coffee pot - not resolved for 24 hours and then they brought her a dirty pot with someone else's grounds still in the pot(health violation).
Our room - hot tub, king suite - locked us out of our room on Friday - had to go back down to the front desk to get keys reset - no apologies. Maid did NOT clean our room other than new towels and trash - but took the tip we left. Sat - on our wedding day - locked out of our room again. Maid took the tip and DID NOT clean our room again - dumped the trash and put clean towels out. No vacuuming, the bed wasn't made, nothing wiped down and took the tip again.
Called and asked to speak with the general manager and was told she would "take a call from us on Monday". Still in a dirty room, no coffee, and completely irritated and angry on our honeymoon night. Probably going to have to take them to court to get my money back. They have no idea what customer service means. No one cared about all the issues and no one cared that they ruined our wedding stay. Never ever stay here. Not worth it no matter what the price.
Stayed on March 20 - 22nd, 2014 - wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
