This is an above average Thai restaurant in south Minneapolis. Located in former 1950s themed diner, it’s not very remarkable from the outside but it's nice on the inside. The décor is tasteful and they have nice plants and pictures of tropical Thailand.

The staff is very friendly and helpful if you’re unfamiliar with Thai food. They certainly don’t shy away from the spice so it can be very spicy/hot. I recommend being on the conservative side until you know how they cook. A little on the pricey side with entrees mostly in $13-$16 range but the portions are pretty generous to balance that out.

Food was served extremely fast, arrived less than ten minutes after we order it. Everything was hot and freshly made. No one had any complaints about the food or service.

They have a Happy Hour (3-6?) with beer, wine and appetizer specials.

Parking can be a pain when they’re busy. The small parking lot out back only has about twelve spots.

We come here about once a year, and always order their specials. This time, our 24 year old son chose it for his birthday dinner - twice! Once with friends, second time with family.
When they asked how spicy we wanted it, they warned that it was a Thai scale, not an American one. We ordered one at 4/5, a couple at 3, the salmon at 2, and our daughter's Pad Thai at 1.
We also had both mango sticky rice and custard for dessert. (not pictured)
Everything was delicious, as always, although the dish that was supposed to be a 4 was not that hot.
Also, they were out of Spring rolls, coconut juice, and ice cream.
But we enjoyed the range of dishes and did not waste many drops.

I stopped for lunch. The food was OK, the service was good, and the prices reasonable. It is a strange 50s retro building with a back alley parking place. Usually a "find" for me. I talked with friends and they like the place.

We placed an online order and called to see if they received it and they said they didn’t receive the order and hung up on us but still charged our card. #beware

Ordered here a few times, food is pretty good, the basil fried rice was a little bland. Delivery through grub hub was pretty prompt
