This is an above average Thai restaurant in south Minneapolis. Located in former 1950s themed diner, it’s not very remarkable from the outside but it's nice on the inside. The décor is tasteful and they have nice plants and pictures of tropical Thailand.
The staff is very friendly and helpful if you’re unfamiliar with Thai food. They certainly don’t shy away from the spice so it can be very spicy/hot. I recommend being on the conservative side until you know how they cook. A little on the pricey side with entrees mostly in $13-$16 range but the portions are pretty generous to balance that out.
Food was served extremely fast, arrived less than ten minutes after we order it. Everything was hot and freshly made. No one had any complaints about the food or service.
They have a Happy Hour (3-6?) with beer, wine and appetizer specials.
Parking can be a pain when they’re busy. The small parking lot out back only has about twelve spots.
