The Hampton Rochester North does not disappoint! Another stay with the family for medical visit. Love that the hotel offers a Mayo Clinic patient rate. Pool area was very clean & the kids had a nice swim before bed. We will be back!More

In town for a wedding and this was the hotel with a block of rooms. Great price (we prepaid for a few dollars less than the wedding block). Easy check-in. Breakfast was decent both mornings. Front desk was a great help. Provided me with an ethernet cord so I could work in my room. We also had car issues and they shuttled us around helping us take care of that issue. Went above and beyond. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Thanks for the very nice review. Weddings play a big part in our weekends. We try our best to make sure all wedding plans go as planned. For most weddings we will provide shuttle service for the wedding party and their guests. Thanks again for staying with us.
We stayed at this hotel for a "stay-cation" as we are from Rochester. The room was spacious, clean and very nice. The breatfast was wonderful and my 11 month old enjoyed his first pool expierence in the pool there. We will use this hotel again and recommend it to family and friends!

We stayed here to visit my brother who was very ill. The hotel is in a nice area and upon arrival the room was very clean. The front desk staff was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about them. Any issue that I, my young daughter or my Mom had was handled promptly and efficiently. There was one young lady (blonde brown hair with ponytail) who tirelessly walked the halls with a clipboard making sure things were done promptly around the hotel. Service here was excellent and breakfast was good. I've never seen anyone work harder than the lady at the breakfast bar. I got tired just watching her run back and forth to the kitchen and back! This Hampton has excellent staff and management, and I'd recommend you consider the hotel if you're ever planning a stay in Rochester. In fact, I would have given them 5-stars had it not been for one problem I experienced. Here comes that but...
But, there were troubling issues with housekeeping after my first night's stay. Sure, upon arrival, the room was clean - a bit cramped for space in the bathroom - but otherwise clean. The second morning, housekeeping stopped by, and I said sure we want the room serviced. They stated that they'd be back. I for one strongly believe in Hampton's policy of clean beds everyday, as an admitted germophobe ;). Much to my chagrin, when we returned to our room that evening, the housekeeping staff had barely done the equivalent of a turn down service. Beds had not even been changed, were not dusted out, and were barely fixed (covers were simply pulled up over the wrinkled sheets. The room was not vacuumed, bathroom not cleaned, nor were the counters wiped down. Considering how great the front desk staff is, that's how shameful housekeeping should be of this behavior. Of course, I addressed this with the front desk who wrote down the issue and even called on the radio for housekeeping to do a deep clean of the room. Think that helped? Nope. Housekeeping came in and well, at least this time the sheets were changed and floors cleaned, but their was still sticky sugar my mom had wasted on the counter from the night before and the bathroom was not cleaned either.
It seems as though the housekeeping staff is running their own little fiefdom at the hotel and doing whatever they darn well please. Heads need to roll or this Hampton will risk losing their #1 rating due to employees not realizing that they're in fact "key" in producing the hotel's competitive niche of clean rooms/beds, everyday. I was very disappointed in housekeeping's obvious lack of regard for customer concern even after the issue was brought up. Bare minimum, beds should be made properly everyday, bathrooms cleaned, and floors vacuumed. New leadership is needed in this area of the hotel. Other than this problem, I enjoyed my stay.

This was a typical Hampton with an adequate breakfast, great service. The only problem was the carpet throughout was dirty and worn. It needs the carpet replaced throughout the hotel. For the price of the room I expected it to be much better maintained than it was.

Very clean hotel! Normally, the first thing I do when I get into the room is stripe the bed down. Not here! Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. Good breakfast and great shuttle bus service to the Clinic. The driver was awesome! Hotel is located in a good safe neighborhood.

The shuttle is a key part of our hotel, we run our shuttle M-F 6am-9pm. Our shuttle is exclusive to our guests. Glad you like the breakfasts too, we are always looking for ways to improve our offerings, along with keeping the favorites.
