Well we were in Rochester for the weekend and went to a couple other places. Sunday a lot of downtown restaurants are closed so we ended up at Chau's place, we should've just went there in the first place and not wasted time looking!
I had the deep fried shrimp and the wife had the soup, both were very good. Shrimp was plentiful, large, maybe a bit too much breading but tasty! The wife loved the veggies in her soup and the broth was good.
We both shared one of the crepes. Way too much food to eat but we wanted to try the crepe. A few shrimp and some pork, bean sprouts which I really like and fresh lettuce and veggies on the side, yummy.
Chau, as usual was her cheery self, always happy and welcoming and she made sure all was well.
Thanks Chau!!!!!

Hostess was very rude, kept asking us if we were ready for the cheque before we were even half way through the meal. We were there before 7pm, not sure what their problem was.The food is average. Not going back.

Early Lunch, A table for 2

ATMOSPHERE: Clean. Good size dining area. Typical Vietnamese cafe style set up.

SERVICE: Pretty good. They frequently came by to see if we were doing okay and our drinks were filled appropriately timed.

FOOD: Fresh and Good but not the best we've had. Husband got the pho, as usual. He liked it but it was not outstanding. I ordered the won ton egg noodle soup. It was tasty but a little salty. Not enough egg noodles provided though. We also ordered ice coffee and eggrolls. The coffee was nice - not too strong. The eggrolls were okay. We also got the shredded pork rolls...which are spring rolls with shredded pork inside. They were a bit dry but that's the nature of the shredded pork.

OVERALL: Great place to stop in for lunch. Considering the lack of options in this area...this place isn't bad.

On Broadway without a fancy presence, but great food. It's tucked back a bit from the street so don't miss it and be sure to stop in for some great entrees. We have only ate here once, but we will be back for sure. Great reasonable prices with large servings, enough to eat and take home the rest for a second meal later. The service is very friendly even though the tables were served by only two people- and it was constantly busy on a Sunday afternoon- the service was very good. We ordered an appetizer but didn't receive it. That's okay, not charged for it and the main meals were way more than enough. I liked the traditional artwork on the walls and friendly atmosphere. Family run and owned restaurants like this leave the corporate chain places in the dust. Their noodle dishes are awesome and a huge selection. Very highly recommended to check it out if you haven't already.

Stopped by for lunch. Location & ambience are nothing special. The ladies were very nice. Quite an extensive pan-Asian menu; not necessarily the best or most authentic I've had but better than most food in Rochester. My Bun was good. Hubby's soup was enormous & flavorful.
