The hotel is very conveniently located to the Mayo Clinic with an inexpensive restaurant off the lobby (10% discount for hotel guests). Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There's free Wi-Fi and TV. The room I had didn't have a fridge of any kind - not that I was expecting it. On the negative side, the building is showing its age with peeling paint and dirt on some of the walls. The bathroom tub had a chipped surface that made it look dirty. The toilet seat was stuck between the tub and the bathroom window - a bit cramped if you're a larger person. The hairdryer was out in the bedroom near the desk! The room itself was small with very little space between the furniture and the bed. The only chair was a desk chair. There wasn't enough room for any other type of chair. There was a heating pipe that ran between floors that made the room very warm even with the radiators shut off! There is no AC and there was not screen in the bathroom window. I also found the hotel noisy - you could hear other people flushing their toilets and the doors slammed very easily if you weren't careful.
If all you are looking for is a clean, inexpensive room near Mayo, this is a good pick, but not for an extended stay.
