Have not been here for at least 2 years. Went there for dinner. This is a decent casual Italian. The bread is good (served with olive oil; they should offer the balsamic, though). Ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Parmesan, and Mama's Trio (Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, and Cannelloni) the food tasted good. Too bad it was not hot. Might give it another chance in the future.

The hot bread loaves for dipping are delicious! We had Soup & Salad - pomodoro soup wonderful, market salad also; and blue cheese Cobb salad (I forgot the actual name). I asked for crumbled, not grated, blue cheese, and got a generous helping. The restaurant is clean, employees friendly and helpful, restrooms clean and well stocked.

The food is very good, but what is best is the location and ambience. It's nice to be able to eat somewhere better than the food court when you're done shopping. If it's a dinner for two, the pretty decor and candlelit tables make it feel like a special night. But if you're there with the family and the kids, they hand you crayons and the tablecloth is a huge piece of paper -- the kids can doodle right on it. Everyone is happy.

We eat pasta regularly, and I can say Macaroni Grill has been hit and miss depending on the dish. The bread is veeery good. What I enjoy is the atmosphere and the experience of eating here. All wanting to can write on the tablecloths with crayons, the service has always been pretty good, but the waits can be long on a weekend. For the money (not much different than other Italian restaurants), it's quite good.

We hadn't been to Macaroni Grill for a very long time. Today, our visit was for lunch in connection with after- Christmas shopping. Our reason for not being at Macaroni Grill is the distance from our home and not the food. We were greeted warmly by our waiter, Eric, and didn't have to wait unduly long for a table. Eric didn't take a long time to bring warm herbed bread that was clearly freshly baked. He also gave us excellent quality extra virgin olive oil with black pepper to dip our bread. We were offered a small sample of Chianti wine, and it was excellent too. The menu at Macaroni is quite complete with pizza and flatbread, antipasti, fresh pasta, classic dishes (shrimp Portofino, Penne Rustica, Pastor Milano, Eggplant Parmesan, etc.), create your own pasta, chicken (pollo), seafood (pesce), meats (carne-steak, pork chop, veal chops, and lunch choices (articsan sandwiches, lunch combinations -soups, salads, pasta, and half sandwiches), a kid's menu (pizza, chicken strips, pasta, etc.), and desserts (dolce). Family style choices are also available. Parking out front of this covered mall is not a problem including some handicapped places.

My husband tried the pepperoni pizza, and it came out thin-crusted and tasty. We shared a Bibb and Blue cheese salad with red onions, which was $1.50 more expensive than the regular house salad and worth it. I had the Chicken Scaloppine, which is a tender chicken breast sliced thinly and topped with artichokes, mushrooms, prociutto, and a lemon butter sauce served with capellini. and topped with capers and some pieces of Italian tomato. This was spectacular! We didn't have dessert, as we had plenty to eat without it. This place is definately worth the trip, and we would like to try dinner there some time.
