I traveled with a larger group and was responsible for our check in. The sales staff made it incredibly easy to check in. They were prepared for us when we arrived and I was able to check in 16 people in about 3 minutes. The facilities were all clean, the rooms were nice, and the beds were comfortable. There are also good restaurants withing walking distance and there is easy access to the highway. Definitely a great stay.

This Days Inn is definitely a cut above other Days Inns we have stayed at.

Positives: Larger than normal, clean, room with comfortable beds and extra pillows. Staff was friendly. Wireless Internet worked well. Breakfast was a little better than average continental breakfast.

Negatives: Only one small elevator to serve all four floors. While the room was large, the toiilet/bath area was rather cramped. Cable TV channels were clear, but locals were very fuzzy and hard to watch.

Overall, a good value for the cost of the room and we would definitely consider staying here again.

The only good thing I have to say about this hotel was it had a convenient location and it was easy to find. Other than that, the beds were the hardest beds I've ever slept in. I asked for a roll away thinking it might be more comfortable. It wasn't. The staff didn't even bring it to me, my husband had to go get it. The elevator was extremely slow and the air conditioning unit didn't work. Something must have been spilled under the tv some time ago and had never been cleaned because it was sticky and caked with dust. Don't waste your money on this place.

This hotel is a very good value. Free parking and a location between Minneapolis and St. Paul make this an attractive choice for the budget-conscious traveler who is renting a car or driving to the area.

I found it to be reasonably clean, though not perfect. My room was nothing special, but comfortable all the same.

My double room had a table with two chairs, no desk. I was surprised to find a fridge and microwave along with a mini-coffee maker, hair dryer, and in-room safe. (Although a $1 per day fee was indicated for the safe, the fee was deducted on my final bill). That's a lot of bang for the buck!

The room was a reasonable size, but the bathroom was quite small--it would have been a bit cramped if I were sharing the room.

The free breakfast was nothing special and gets old--but most guests here seem to be staying only one night. Cereal was only corn flakes or frosted flakes. There were donuts and muffins, toast and English muffins, instant oatmeal, bananas, red delicious apples, juice, coffee, and milk.

One vending machine sells items that can be heated in the microwave.

The wireless internet was a bit slow, but worked fine otherwise.

It is a rather old hotel. The elevator is slow and ancient, and the building has zero character. To me it felt cared for, though, not neglected and efforts have been made to keep it updated and attractive.

While I was there, the hotel was very busy and the breakfast room was also busy, sometimes to overflowing. There were two bus groups on difference days (one children, one seniors) and always a few trucks in the parking lot. Guests seemed quiet and polite. Staff are helpful, efficient and unobtrusive.

There is an Indian restaurant next door, a Burger King up the street, a steak house at the Ramada across the street, and a large retail area fairly close.

This hotel is pretty clean and the breakfast was good. The only negatives are: 1) shower head is for midgets -- it was too short for me and I'm only 5'6" 2) they slap on a $1 'safe insurance' fee that is not part of the quoted rate and 3) halls reek like smoke (although the room did not).

This was our third stay at this Day's Inn and I would highly recommend it. Building is older, but rooms are nicely decorated, extremely clean, and the king beds have been consistantly very comfortable. Free High Speed Internet works great. Room was quiet, water pressure was good and the breakfast had a nice selection of pasteries etc. Staff was friendly and very helpful with directions. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
