Description: Cheeky Monkey is a cozy deli and bistro, located in downtown St. Paul's Cathedral Hill neighborhood. We're open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week and brunch on both Saturday and Sunday. Cheeky Monkey is all about comfort food: brioche French toast and eggs benedict for brunch and gourmet sandwiches, soups and salads during lunch. At night, Cheeky Monkey transforms into a quaint bistro with offerings such as meatloaf, mac and cheese, steak, salmon, pork and chicken prepared fresh by our chef, often with locally sourced ingredients. We also feature a great beer and wine list. Ask about our great Gluten Free options as well.

“Not as espected”

The service was good but the " branch" was not as expected. Needs a lot of improvement. We order omelettes and eggs benedict but were not as expected. To dry.

“Nice place to meet friends for brunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014 via mobile

Nice restaurant. The inside is set up cute. We sat on the back patio. Our server was prompt and friendly. Be sure to ask about the hash of the day as they have a new special daily. Sandwiches can become salads upon request. They are very accommodating. A nice selection of side dishes too. It's be nice if the sandwiches came with a side though. Instead, you have to pay for then additionally and that's a little expensive. Best advice, get 1 side to share. The fresh fruit is the side I selected and the was enough for at least 2 servings.

“Cute”

Food was awesome, a little over priced, but delicious. The feel of the place reminded me of several places over seas.

“Fabulous Lunch spot, great sandwich options and daily soup”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2014

We tried the Cheeky Monkey Deli based on reviews and it was spot on. Sandwiches were interesting and tasty, the special Southwest soup with chicken was nice and spicy, outdoor seating on the street or the patio out back, in addition to able seating inside, give you lots of options. Order at the counter and food is delivered to your table.
I tried the Muffaletta sandwich with Italian meats that was great but the best part was the southwest style soup with tortilla strips, chicken, corn and enough zip to brighten my day. A draft root beer topped it off. The ham and brie pressed sandwich with apricot mustard, and the nutella and banana on nice crunchy toast were also big hits. Can't wait for the next visit.

Also loved the interesting decor in the bathrooms with the pages from British and monkey themed books; nice touch.
