“First visit, will return”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2014

We've read about the park and specifically the conservatory/gardens many times and decided to visit on this trip to St. Paul. It was a Friday, in early June, so LOTS of school groups, but once they moved on to the zoo from the conservatory, it was a nice trip. The conservatory is very nice with 4 distinct areas, the bonsai exhibit impressive, and the Japanese garden beautiful and peaceful. After viewing the garden, we strolled the park, or at least part of it. The park is very large and diverse. We'll definitely return.

“Nice place specially for kids”

There are lots of animals. That's why kids love this place. The conservatory is not that big. Also there are eating places inside the zoo.

“Nice outing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014 via mobile

We had an awesome time with our kids here, the zoo isn't huge but they have a wide variety of animals and the flowers and plants are beautiful. There is no charge to visit and we had no problems finding free parking as well. Great way to spend the day with little ones.

“Beauty in all seasons”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014

Como Conservatory is a jewel of St. Paul. It is free although you are asked to donate $2 or $3 per person. There is always something interesting to see. In the winter it is a great place to go to escape the cold and experience a little tropical paradise.

“Great Free Animals!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

I really like that it is free to visit, I always try to make a donation to help keep the company going! The conservatory is always worth a look, particularly in winter - it's a very warm green filled place!
