Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl - The daily-printed menu, filled with irresistible flavors and tempting aromas, is truly a feast for the senses. The wine menu is hand- picked by the Sommelier and also changes to reflect the seasonal and ethnic influences of the cuisine. - Jeremy Iggers of the Minneapolis Star Tribune describes the restaurant as "a candle-lit chef-driven bistro with an imaginative globe-trotting menu."

“Neighborhood-friendly - Good Food”
Reviewed 17 November 2011

This is one of our favorite restaurants and we go every couple months. They will occasionally stumble on service if sudden large groups show up, but a mention to the server if there is a need for speed will always be attended to.
Portions seemed small, but they are always filling, and come from local farms.
Patio is great in warmer weather.

“Try the Asian burger.”
Reviewed 28 September 2011

Last week a friend took me to lunch at mufaletta for my bday and it was my first time trying this place. I'm kind of the "foodie" of my friends but this time I was the rookie. The decor could be spruced up a bit but Asian burger was amazing. Spicy and flavorful. The sweet potato fries with an aioli were also really good!

I had a steak salad. I found the salad to be overpriced for the small size of the salad. The steak was cooked well it just needed more greens!

“Consistently fine food, friendly, helpful, personal service”
Reviewed 31 July 2011

This is a really reliable, fine restaurant. My wife and I have been coming here for years. We think that food is among the most tasty of any Twin Cities restaurant. The service also is friendly, fast and helpful.
Last week we went and I had the beer cheese soup and a caesar salad, and said to please include anchovies that were listed on the menu. The server brought exactly what I asked, except that there were a couple extra anchovies. Typical of the "over and over" expectations service. I had the tortellini , which was incredibly good. My wife had an Asian burger and brocali cheese soup - she very much liked both.
Reliable, tasty, friendly. A very good restaurant.

“Mellow and Flavorful”
Reviewed 28 March 2010

This St. Anthony Park establishment is a great place to obtain flavorful food in a mellow setting. From their beer cheese soup to their specialty dishes like pastas with rich seasoning, every thing is well-done here. The menu is varied and changes so boredom is impossible here. They also offer great service is a clam, relaxing atmosphere that invites you to linger and enjoy the meal.

They have responded to the recent economic downturn by offering special dishes at the $10.00 range for dinner and by offering a three course option as well. On a nice day you can enjoy dinning on their terrace that allows you to look at the traffic going down Como Ave. Their pot roast is one option to try.
