Friendly, relaxed atmosphere "where people know your name." A true neighborhood cafe where groups can play cards in the afternoon, or gather for breakfast in the morning. I've been going here for years and never feel rushed. Good acoustics for quiet conversation. Unpretentious atmosphere, delicious food and baked goods, reasonable prices. Easy place to go solo. Friendly staff, convenient parking.

This restaurant is the latest venture in a place that has seen a number of other eateries. We very much enjoy our visits to this venue because of the cozy folksy atmosphere, the quick and friendly service and the ample array of menu items. We often share meals because of the large servings provided and the staff always cheerfully assist us by providing extra dishes. Another plus for this establishment is the wonderful bakery items displayed in a glass case at the entrance to tempt patrons as they leave.

I ordered the fish and chips and I can hardly wait to go back and have it again. Some of the best in town. The batter is applied with a light hand, (I could see through it), but it's crispy and delicious and ample which is just how I like batter.

The Café's web site make it look like it's only old fashioned breakfast and meatloaf but there are several more exotic items on the menu as well. This restaurant has some kind of relationship to The Himalayan in Minneapolis, (same owners?), and some of those items are offered here. Be sure to try the momos, they are fabulous and the tomato cilantro sauce is exquisite.

Thanks for your response! We know there are a few things we could change on the website. We are slowly working on that. Glad you had an enjoyable time. We do own the Hymalayan (our sister restaurant). Try It out some time!!

We husband and I stopped in for lunch because we had a groupon for this place. It was very good. My husband ordered the burger with a side of onion rings - it was a very generous portion and he said they were great. I had the turkey burger with a side of fruit. The turkey burger was well-seasoned and the bun looked home made. Wish the fruit had been a larger portion due to the nearly $4 charge but it was fresh and good. Would go back. (p.s. the bakery case was filled with great looking goodies!)
