Of course you have to love Charlot ! But who does not ? A wonderfull museum that talkes place in the house he leaved for more than twenty years and where he died.
You visit the library, the dining room, etc... and there are hundred of photos, films that tell you everyting about Chaplin, also lots of statues and it is very funny to take pictures with him and you on it !!!!!! This museum is for everybody !
I also loved the studio , just amazing ....you need at least 3 hours to visit .
One bar and a restaurant too...
I just loved it !!!!!

I visit museums weekly and this is one of the best I’ve ever been to. You learn about Charlie Chaplin, the man and Charlie Chaplin the filmmaker. You see the house he lived in and there are numerous clips from his many films. It is an incredible museum of an incredible man. I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area.

One of the best museum/exhibitions I have visited. Tells the story of Charlie Chaplin from his early life in London through his career . Creative and stunning exhibits, many of his films can be viewed too. A great place to take the whole family and easily worth the money. Allow 3 hours to do it justice. On site restaurant excellent too. Strongly recommended and not just on a wet day !!

To be honest we didn't expect to like this visit that much, as we didn't have enough knowledge of Charlie Chaplin's life. This didn't stop us from visiting this museum though, since we heard it worth a visit.
We were so excited with the exhibits, the was statues, the many screen playing parts of his movies, we had so much fun taking various photos all over the museum and afterwards, the visit at his house, that was a blast!
We saw, felt and touched Chaplin's furniture, personal things, and we saw this amazing house he lived the many last years of his life! A really unforgettable experience! If you visit Vevey just go, but be aware that the tickets are a bit expensive (25 Swiss francs per person) plus you pay for parking 2 CHF per hour). There are a lot of online coupons though to pay the entrance for 16 CHF per person and they give you a card to pay only 4 francs for as many hours as you stay there for parking.
