Me, my siblings, and parents all went to Lupine Lodge last fall for our annual family vacation. We love vacationing in Northern MN, and the atmosphere at Lupine Lodge was just perfect! Cozy rooms, rustic decor, the most stunning, accessible waterfront....everything about it exceeded our expectations! The lodge housed everything we needed, from hairspray to cooking utensils to extra blankets. I couldn't recommend Lupine Lodge more highly to anyone looking to the perfect escape. The only thing that COULD be perceived as a downside is that you get absolutely zero cell reception anywhere.....this was just fine with us though :) Plenty of quaint little shops and restaurants in the area, and Rick (the owner) even has suggestions in a little booklet. We loved it and plan on going back again this year!

We had a great time at the Lupine lodge with our family of seven, plus one golden retriever. Plenty of room with every bedroom having a view of Lake Superior. Great location to get away from the hustle and bustle, yet a short drive to many of the beautiful scenic spots on the North Shore. Very reasonably priced as well. Already talking about booking again for next year. Just don't try that Peanuts puzzle in the livingroom, as it's 3 or 4 puzzles mixed together! ;) Thanks Rick for being such a responsive owner!
