This was my first ever experience at a B&B, and all I can say is wow. A friend and I stayed in the room, from 8/5-8/9/12. We were greeted upon arrival by hosts Gary and Sandra, who immediately put us at ease in their home. The first morning we woke up to the scent of freshly brewing coffee, a gorgeous view of the lake, and ducks resting on the shore. Later that day, we utilized "Captain" Gary, and his wonderful sail boat for a 3 hr sailing excursion on Leech Lake. The B&B was impeccably clean and maintained. The food was wonderful. And Gary and Sandra made the entire experience perfect for us. We would highly recommend this B&B to our best friends, and to anyone looking for a perfect, relaxing, getaway.

My wife and I just spent 4 great days at the Leach Lake B+B, from August 2nd through the 6th.
We chose this place because of it's location, near the Paul Bunyan and Heartland bike trails, and because it is on the lake, and QUIET! We wanted as much relief from our hectic lives as possible so having a bunch of crazed kids running around and parties and jet-skis wasn't going to work.
THIS PLACE WORKS ! Our hosts, Gary and Sandra did a superb job of making us feel welcome and ensuring we could relax without being bothered. The place is absoutley impecable, you probably could not even find a fingerprint on anything, squeaky clean. Every morning we woke up to coffee brewing and were treated to a great hot breakfast. Not your typical cold cereal or bagel here, were talking Quiche, and smothered French Toast, home-made pancakes and sausage, 5 selections of juices and Gary's signature fresh fruit plates. It was great fun to watch the ducks in the yard and the squirrels chasing each other against a backdrop of the calm waters of Leach Lake. There are several rooms in the B+B, each with their own distinct qualities, and all very nice. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet, romantic get away, simply fabulous.

My husband, 16 year-old son, and I spent three days at the Leech Lake B&B in August, 2011. We had a very relaxing stay. We chose the LLB&B because of its location--it is right on Leech Lake AND on the Heartland Trail (bike path). We spent one day biking, one day swimming and boating, and one day just relaxing--reading, playing pool, and sitting by the water.

Gary and Sandra were gracious, friendly hosts. Sandra made wonderful breakfasts that she served on their deck overlooking their backyard and the lake. Gary took us on a great boat ride around Leech Lake, pointing out local landmarks and filling in with stories about the area. We also used their kayaks to paddle around the lake one morning, looking at the birds.

We stayed in the Bay View Suite, which I recommend. It's on the second floor, and has a view of the lake with walls of windows on three sides. We had them pull in a roll-away bed for our son, and all three of us agreed that it was a great spot to sit, read, or take a nap.

If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in the Leech Lake area, you should consider LLB&B. The combination of proximity to recreation and a quiet, relaxing setting--AND two very gracious hosts--can't be beat.
