We stopped in here for lunch while traveling, not sure what to expect. It doesn't look like much on the outside and it's small on the inside but such friendly staff and the food was fresh and really good and prices were extremely reasonable $. We had the carrot soup and pizza, both were excellent. There is a small bar area and a little larger dining area, we ate in the bar. It's worth the stop.

Popped in for dinner with the family and were not disappointed at the choice on the menu. As is usual the staff were so welcoming and friendly with the locals joining in with conversations. Most definitely will be back next year.

Very friendly local with real ale in a small bar. Had a walk round this beautiful village to a nearby beach.

Went to portnahaven to see the seals.
Popped in for some lunch and we where not disappointed.
Both chose the chicken burgers and they where very tasty.
It came served with mozzarella and sweet chillie sauce with a generous serving of chips and a side salad.

Friendly staff and amazing food a must if you are in Portnahaven

If you find yourself at the end of Islay, in Portnahaven, lucky you. Stop in to the pub for a fresh made bite. The proprietor was sick the day we came by, but there was still fresh sweet potato soup and chips. Both were hot, fresh and yum. Of course a large selection of whisky and beer on tap.
