Great hotel and staff. I reserved rather late, and Guest Services Manager Nick worked to complete my stay over the entire extended 12 day period as rooms became available. Rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. Inside rooms overlook the pool atrium with a European façade. Breakfast is above the norm, with scrambled eggs, meat choice varieties (ham, sausage links, sausage patties), cereal, yogurt, fruit, milk, coffee, apple and orange juice, bread for toast, pastries, and make your own mini pancakes or Belgian waffles. All staff members were friendly and helpful. Rudy's Red Eye Grille, adjoining, is popular and was full with a Friday night 45 min wait tonight for restaurant seating, or immediate seating poolside, (Try the Bull Bites steak appetizer!!!) Rudy's Rooftop now has a rooftop venue with outside seating with fireplace and a subset of the full menu. The location is great - right on Highway 61 (revisited/Bob Dylan), convieniently close to Twin Cities loop highways), Two wedding parties were attending both weekends I was there. Rudy's bar features the standard big names, plus several craft brews on draught. I can't wait to return to this relaxing and fun place.More
