My wife & 2 teenage daughters thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bramble Cottage. The location was fabulous, within easy walking distance of both the beech and the local pub (excellent food & ale!!). For nature lovers there's plenty to see...over 10 species of butterfly (on the reserve you walk through to get to beach & village) and Dolphins & Seals from the nearby headland.
It's also within easy reach of all the attractions in West Cornwall (both south & north coast).
The property itself was cosy, comfortable & clean...excellent value for money for July.
We have arrived home slightly heavier than when we left thanks to the wonderful pasties (our favourite was 'Ann's' on the Lizard), Roskillies Ice Cream & of course the clotted cream. It would have been worse though but for the magnificent walks...do try to walk some of the coastal path.
Only slightly disappointing thing was the local farmer had decided to build a wall of plastic covered hay bales in the field outside the property, effectively blocking what would have been a fabulous view. I'm sure they won't be there for long & certainly this was outside the control of the owners and definitely shouldn't effect your decision to book this cottage.
