We arrived late (about midnight) and secured a family room (corner room in the one story motel building) that was spacious and met our needs for a reasonable price ($100), though breakfast was very limited. Value for money was okay, however the owner was offputting as he grumbled about having to get off his couch and come out from his living quarters (attached to office) to serve us when we arrived late. As he has bought into innkeeping as a business, I would think providing service to welcome guests should be a priority. The owner was also in and out of the reception area the next morning acting in a rude and demeaning way to a clerk trainee who had apparently only started there that week. When asked to for tea which was not set out, the trainee had to ask the owner where it was and the owner had trouble finding the tea. By word and abrupt actions the owner made it clear that finding tea was a pain, and that searching for things to meet customer's needs was beneath him and that the new employee should have been able to do this for himself. In the very small and cramped breakfast area in the lobby, his actions were rude. My entire family could see that this was not a positive work environment for this employee and not a welcoming atmosphere for guests; even my 10 year old picked up on this... I doubt the employee, who later quietly apologized for not being able to find the tea, was any more anxious to stay there than we would be if passing through Worthington again.

Traveling for a long time and wanted to budget our hotel costs.... The building is not typical, probably was a generic motel at one time. Came across the "trucker" Helen from Mn.mentioned. Wish he would learn how to park his truck, unless he was trying to prevent others from parking alongside. The room had a love seat and recliner in the room along with the mentioned amenities.
Couldn't track the "grandmothers house" - type odor. I think the vents and furniture could use a spritzing up to help this.( Family run.) I think they see more "truckers" than families, by the way, but, overall it's what you'd expect . Wish, though, they'd put decaf coffee in the room and in the breakfast room.

Room Tip: All rooms are accessible directly from your car. No second floor.

My husband and I stayed at this location one night while traveling around on vacation. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Very quite in front building where we were located. Breakfast was served in lobby had several choices. There was also a tiny indoor pool that we didn't use but it was cute. Great value for the price we paid and clean.

My family was tired heading home from a long road trip. We checked our Garmin and found out there was a Days Inn not far ahead. Being warned off another hotel in the same area from Trip Advisor's ratings, we located this very nice looking, remodeled hotel. It was getting late and we did not want to search too far! There were a number of trucks pulled into this motel, so we thought that was a good sign. It was! We came across a regular cooking his meal outside his room on a small hibachi grill. He told us he stayed here all the time, it was excellent. So, finding out we would be enjoying a hot breakfast with a bunch of choices, we decided to stay. We are very glad we did. Very nice, updated upper level room, carpet smelled brand new throughout the building. It was a hot evening and our a/c unit was working hard but very quiet. Thank you for that! We enjoyed the pool, very quiet and well stocked with towels just for us. Our room was modern with everything we needed, even a new black fridge and microwave in the corner. We had a very nice breakfast and enjoyed chatting with several construction workers who stay regularly. They all highly recommended this place saying they had tried others and this was by far the nicest for the price. Breakfast consisted of cereals, make your own waffles, and build your own egg, sausage, cheese biscuits, juice, coffee, etc. This was a very pleasant surprise and worth seeking out, even though it is a little further from the freeway than other chain motels. Check it out!

Room Tip: This hotel consists of one two-storey building and a strip-type building such as you would find in a ma and pa type. We selected the second floor in the building housing the pool as we thought it would be close for swimming and no one walking across our ceiling all night. A Good Sleep.
