I stayed here on consecutive weekends as we were moving our daughter to Bay St Louis. The house is gorgeous. We stayed in Grandmere's room both times. Hilton gives you a tour of the house. It is full of beautiful antiques with wonderful stories. My only problem is that I am very short and Grandmere's bed is high, so I had quite o climb. But the room is large and the bed was very comfortable. Hilton makes a great breakfast and his blueberry muffins are to die for. Everything is spotlessly clean. He says there is still some work they need to do to the floors to finish the restoration after Katrina, but I never noticed.
It is a little more expensive than other places you could stay in Bay St Louis, but Hilton and his stories are more than worth the extra cost. I can't wait to share this place with other friends who will come to visit Bay St Louis.
