“Isle of Capri is now Golden Nugget”
Reviewed 26 August 2013

They are working hard on updating this casino. There were very few players and almost no one in the bars. Parts of the casino smelled a little musty. It should be very nice as the improvements are made.

“Average! Nothing special!”
Reviewed 10 August 2013 via mobile

The hotel staff had no personality at all. Except the valet guys. The room (junior suite) however was very clean and comfortable and the food was average buffet food. The restaurant 32 was awesome!

“golden nugget biloxi ms”
Reviewed 4 July 2013

New cards again! all new slots downstairs, tight slots,
a birthday tee shirt cost me $125.00, never have I lost that much that fast in Biloxi.
very few people in Buffet so decided to skip the free one.
This wil NOT be my go to place for gambling. won $25.00 hot seat at free slot tournament
even that returned me less then $5.00. Will gamble elsewhere. Did not like the painting in the parking area, plastic, thin was placed over cars parked while painting, half of the plastic was blown off. cars were not proteted.

“New Golden Nugget”
Reviewed 29 June 2013 via mobile

Went to the casino as New Golden NUGGET June 22, 2013. Was too crowded, We were given comp buffet as I had a coupon. Went to try the buffet under Golden Nugget. Food was the same as when under the Isle . They had seafood. Crab was over cooked, hard to cracked. Fried chicken was good. desserts was ok. Our server were very nice and helpful.

Went to play, machines were tight, but we had fun. We did not stayed in the hotel as we can't get a room even though we had comp to stay no rooms were available. Maybe next time.

“Changing to Golden Nugget June 21st 2013”
Reviewed 17 June 2013

We visited the Isle on June 17th and it was very confusing. They are undergoing a lot of construction changes both inside and outside to be ready for becoming The Golden Nugget on June 21st. It took us a long time to even know where to park b/c all areas seemed to be closed or filled with construction vehicles. There were signs for valet, but honestly we could not find where to even go. Once eventually inside, we found that the entire lower floor was closed in preparation for the Grand Opening. The upstairs gaming area was very crowded and cramped. There were bays of games missing with just the bases there. We didn't even gamble at all b/c it was just very hectic and busy.

I am sure that the new changes made will be lovely so we hope to visit Biloxi next summer to find out. It is worth your while to stop to see how this location changes.
