Owner description: When you walk past the palm trees that line the entrance into the Margaritaville Biloxi Casino and Restaurant you will know instantly that this place is different. There’s an energy in the air – a sense of something fun. Maybe it’s the excitement of the players around you, the enthusiasm of the smiling casino staff, or the beauty of the giant 30 foot windows letting the natural beauty and sunshine of South Mississippi in. One thing is for sure – this is not the typical windowless, dark casino. This place was built to be fun – our slots let you play longer, the table game rules give you as much of an edge as anywhere on the coast, and our game selection blends the old and the new to give you a variety that will meet everyone’s needs.

We just got back from a 3 day get-away to Biloxi and spent time each day @ Margaritaville casino - imagine our surprise at finding out this casino will be closing within a month! Too bad becuase you hired a great staff who love working for you! Everyone from the Customer Service desk to the dealers and wait-staff in the bar and buffet are great ambassadors for your brand.

“Follow-up to my last review”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

While in Biloxi this trip, we found Margaritaville much changed than it was before. The staff no longer cared and had lost all heart. The dining area was pretty bad. Your feet stuck to the floor. My husband pulled out his chair and got sticky stuff all over his hands. Food quality now very poor. The only way you could get a drink was to go to the bar. The waitress did not want to know. It's not surprising that this place will be closing (we heard) in Dec. Such a shame as they had big plans to build a new hotel as well. We hear that Jimmy Buffet has completely pulled out and cut ties. Now all that may be hearsay, but I certainly will not go back

“The rumours must be true”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

I have heard rumors they may be closing due to lack of business. We visited one more time this trip and nothing going on. The sad thing is I don't see where there is any improvement. The staff all seem depressed and the atmosphere is just a downer.

“Out of the Way”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

I really like Jimmy Buffett-branded properties, even though I know they tend to be gimmicky. This casino is no different. I went on a Saturday night and it was not crowded at all, which is probably a bad sign for them. It is away from the main strip of casinos, which means there isn't any walk-up traffic. The casino wasn't terribly large, but they had a little of everything, and the table limits were low at $5. The casino had an odd vibe to me--it seemed a little more desperate than fun.
