Traveling from Florida on leisure with no set plans. Stopped in Biloxi for the night to gamble. While deciding where we would like to stay we came across the Best Western. Was in a great location across from the Beau Rivage, diagonal from the Hard Rock and down the street from Boom Town. Rate was $80 with AAA. We asked to see the room before signing. Staff was friendly and accomodating. They showed us a second floor room, recently renovated, very clean and roomy . King size bed, w/ 5 pillows on the bed and comfy (WOW) Table with 2 chairs. Micro, fridge and safe. Bed was comfy, pool was very short distance from the room, warm and clean. Parking was no problem. Free 24 hr shuttle to and from Boom town adjacent to the parking lot. , Continental breakfast of coffee, juices, fruit, cereals, bagels, muffins, danishes, begian waffles, sausages ( cooked for you ) by a pleasant staff person.Hubby needed shaving cream, went to front desk rec'd good size can and a razor with no problem.. Only negative was couldn't get free internet, but didn't persue, had my own air card .Saw a commercial for 1 free night stay if you stay 2 nights at any Best Western. Signed up and now on our way to our next destination. Hoping the next Best Western will be this nice!

We were only in Biloxi for one night and wanted to experience the Biloxi casinos without paying the exorbitant prices to stay in one. This hotel is in the perfect place - right across the street from the Bellagio and an easy walk from the Hard Rock. The rooms were nice (ask for a room on the south side facing the parking lot/main street for the best view) and all have balconies. They even have a decent breakfast with waffles, bagels, cereal and the usual buffet breakfast items. In addition, they have a small pool area and the beach is also within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again!

We have just returned from spending two nights at the Best Western Oak Manor in Biloxi, Mississippi, and I was pleasantly surpised with the accomodations. Pros: convenient, very clean, quiet, reasonable, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, spacious with balcony, comfortable bed, nice continental breakfast and delightful hostess (Ms Peggy), housekeeping staff friendly and accommodating. Cons: Front desk staff somewhat unprofessional, no club chair in room (only straight chairs with table), bathroom kinda small but ample vanity space, old fashioned TV needed adjustments or just replacing. We were on the second floor overlooking a side street -- ideal location within this facility.

I made a reservation for a queen suite since it had a separate sitting area with desk. I was in the area for business and would need the desk for work.

Upon checkin, I was given the keys to my room. When I arrived, I noticed that my room was not a suite. I checked my paperwork that night and asked the front desk clerk the next morning. That afternoon, when i returned after work, I discussed the issue with the desk clerk on duty. She seemed irritated and initially claimed there was no difference between the regular rooms and the suites, and that most of the suites didn't have desks. She said, 'What? Do you want to move?" I told her that I just wanted the room that I reserved, and that I was paying for. I was given the keys to the new room, which was a suite, with a separate sitting area with desk.

The room was comfortable, and I had no issues with it, but nothing fantastic to report.

The hotel only has wireless internet in some rooms, but will loan out a cable for access.

We devoted a section of our honeymoon to volunteering along the Gulf Coast rebuilding damage from Hurricane Katrina and we stayed here for three nights.

Though by no means is it a luxury property, it is clean, comfortable, and safe. The staff was friendly (especially the older ladies who oversaw the free breakfasts), the internet access was good, and it is right on Biloxi's main drag. We were literally across the street from the Beau Rivage, and we spent one night over there for dinner and a little gambling. The Hard Rock Cafe/Casino is also just a block or two away.

And you're just a very short drive away from some terrific restaurants in Biloxi and Ocean Springs, and though you can't see the Gulf from your room, it only took a short walk to gain some amazing views of the water.

Plus, we were volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in nearby Gulfport, and when we mentioned that to the hotel's manager, they actually gave is a very discount on the room. It was a very nice gesture, and it shows how grateful they are to get some help. I urge you to do the same -- the Gulf Coast area (from Mobile to New Orleans) still needs a lot of assistance.

After calling around for decently priced hotels, we found this one to be one of the best, especially the friendliness of the staff. Our room was clean and bigger than we expected. (2 queens instead of the typical 2 standard beds) They had an iron and ironing board, and a rack to put your suitcase on for packing. Next to the in-room keyed safe is a cabinet for the coffee pot, (including coffee and tea packets) microwave and fridge. The bathroom had complimentary shampoos and lotions that were replenished daily, but their "special" thick bar of soap was wonderful. (It didn't feel slimy/sticky like most hotel soap)

All the rooms had sliding glass doors that led to a little balcony with table and chairs. We purposely booked the third floor so we wouldn't hear people walking above us, and were very happy with our room location. (Beau Rivage was right across the street, and the view from our Balcony at night was gorgeous) The elevators were located a short way from most of the rooms, and we didn't have to wait for them long at all. We did feel sorry for the people on the first floor, as their sliding doors led straight into the parking lot, so I'm sure they heard more of the passing traffic than we did. Great for them...only if THEY are the one's parked in front of their room.

Breakfast was GREAT! Huge homemade waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, bagels, fruit, cereal, etc. The bacon was the heat and serve kind, but was still good. If you're lucky enough to get Ms. Peggy to cook for you, your're in for a treat! A wonderful woman with an English accent who made our day divine with her warm, loving personality!

The only complaint I would have is the smallness of the pool, but since it was still too chilly to swim, we didn't even care. There's a waterpark not far from our location, and if it had been warm enough, that's what we'd have done to get our fill of swimming. Also, their small parking lot seemed to get pretty crowded around dusk and we wondered if they run out of parking spaces during peak season.

Overall...a good hotel for the money.

I stayed here while on business. The rooms on the first floor have been renovated and are very nice for a Best Western in my opinion. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, which works for me. The rooms on the second floor have not been renovated, but have a balcony.
The Beau Rivage is directly across the street at a much much higher rate. If you are there to gamble and eat, staying at the Best Western will probably be a great way to save $$$ for the tables. If you plan to use the pool and spa, you may want to spend the $300 plus per night on the Beau!!
