“Pizza comparison in the area”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

We hear Soulshine was the best from one local, Millers from another, Sal & Mookies from another, and thought we would try them all and compare. Soulshine has a great atmosphere, nice wait staff, and a varied selection of pizzas. We tried the cheeseburger pizza and the barbeque chicken. Neither would be considered 'gourmet'. The cheeseburger had way too much mustard and was a bit dry. The barbeque chicken had to be eaten with a knife and fork due to the size of the chicken pieces - which was a combo of breast and thigh meat. There were no ingredients around the outer 1" of the crust, and the flavor of the pizza was just okay. We may visit Soulshine for atmosphere, but not for the pizza.

“New location is much better”
Reviewed 15 November 2013 via mobile

This restaurant made a good decision to move to their new location. The atmosphere is now what you expect from Soulshine. Very good place to go have a beer and some pizza.

Huge menu of homemade pizza, subs, calzones, beer. Very few gluten-free options. Friendly, helpful staff. Overall, we had a great meal.

“The Jacksonian”

This is great gourmet pizza. The jacksonian was excellent, very fresh ingredients, very tasty!!! Also, the hot wings are actually hot so beware. The bread pudding is some of the best I have ever had!!!

“Great pizza”
Reviewed 11 June 2013 via mobile

Great pizza with a wide variety of toppings. I had The Mediterranean - pesto, shrimp, artichoke hearts, and bell peppers. It was great and several other options looked great as well. Husband had the Apollo - a sautéed shrimp poboy - which he enjoyed. We shared the pepperoni bread as an appetizer and that was great as well.
