We have eaten here many times and I agree with the other comments that is isn't as good as it was but it is still good for us. We love salad bars and there is always lots of good choices at the C & G. There are always two selections of soup in addition to the salad and cheese. The last visit I thought that the cheese selections were not as good as before and sometimes they have a nice selection of roasted veggies, but not always.

The one thing we always do is ask to be seated near the windows as the casino noise is less there. The closer you are to the front the louder it gets and I don't like the noise with my meal.

If you were paying cash for your meal it might seem a bit pricey for what you get but the casino is very liberal with the comps so the only cash required is for the server tip if you play in the casino.

Stayed at Island View and used a coupon offer for a meal at C & Grille. I chose the hamburger, large and delicious. Husband had the shrimp po-boy and it was overflowing with fried shrimp...looked delicious!

The late night buffet inside the C&G grill is only soup and salads. Otherwise, they have a full menu to satisfy your hunger! They offer hot bread sticks fresh out of the oven with a tasty tom sauce! The fried green tomates are killer! Great place for a quick meal or just to relax in between gaming.

We have visited this restaurant on our visits for the last many years. The service remains impressive but the food selections and food quality have gone down over the years. When it shared a kitchen with Emeril's the entrees as well as the salad bar selections were over the top in quality. Sadly, both areas have suffered after Emeril's exit, in our opinion. It still serves the purpose as a mid priced alternative between the buffet and the Carter Green Steakhouse. Don't get me wrong; the food is still good; just not up to the standards of the past.
P.S. we still eat here everytime we go:)

this is a huge burger and i ate every bite of it and it did not give me indigestion, or any full feeling i get from heavy meat. It was the best ever and i will eat it again! And i am not a burger gal!
