I liked the paintings but it could use a lot more things not a lot of sea shores or seafood but other things.

I knew a little about Walter Anderson before going to the museum but I came away with a much deeper appreciation for his work. It was well worth the admission fee. The brief film on his life added to the experience as did seeing the boat he used to get to Horn Island. We were just
about to leave the museum when we turned a corner and walked into the Ocean Springs Community Center. The murals depicting the history and wildlife of Ocean Springs were
spectacular, worth much more than the one dollar that he charged to paint them. All in all, it was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.

A really great museum devoted to the pottery, drawing and paintings of Ocean Springs, MS native son, Walter Anderson. Look at the museum first and then see the movie documenting his life (a 28 minute PBS film). The museum is fascinating and Anderson's works are truly unique and beautiful. Admission is only 8-10 dollars and well worth it.

The museum is a bit pricey but the only place you can see a collection of Walter Anderson's art all in one place. The jewelry store in the Beau Rivage also has a few of his pieces in their store display window if you are a fan of his work

Had never heard of Walter Anderson, enjoyed the museum. Make sure to watch the video before going through to enjoy the art. A little pricey for the size, but enjoyable.
