I stayed here for a Writer's conference. As a young child I visited often so I wanted to go back.
Things change and it was not the same but I enjoyed the visit.
The rooms are a good size plus they have a mini kitchen with dishes included. The rates are unbelievable! (89.00)
There was a small continental breakfast but due to dietary restrictions I ate in the club house restaurant.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Because it is a historic building (1927) there is no elevator to the 2nd floor. Because of the set up, there is not room for an elevator. They have been grandfathered in. Be sure to request a 1st floor room. Pool is huge!
I am not a golfer but they have a beautiful course and clubhouse.More
