What a wonderful park, peaceful and relaxing. Cabins are cosy and clean. Equipped with everything you need. Lovely hill views sitting on the verandah..and a kangaroo or two! Short 5 min drive to the city. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 3 enjoyable and peaceful nights in our rental campervan on a powered site with hard-standing and adjacent ensuite.
Reception: Very friendly and helpful staff but they do shut shop early, so if you anticipate an ETA after 1730 hrs phone ahead for arrangements.
Campsite: Nicely laid out with plenty of shade in a valley. Clean, tidy and well maintained.
Being self-contained we had little use for the camp facilities which included good laundry facilities with plenty of washing lines, a nice kitchen, clean toilets and showers, swimming pool, tennis court and dump site etc.
Free wi-fi is avaialable, but the signal was very poor, probably not helped by the valley location.
One minor complaint: There was no back-up toilet roll in the ensuite, but this was quickly rectified when I visited reception.
Public transport: A 10 minute walk gets you to a regular bus service to Adelaide City, just 7 kms away. Much better than trying to find a parking place for a campervan!
5 minutes drive to eateries, shops etc.
Would we stay there again: Absolutely!

Used a drive through site for a couple of weeks over Easter, have not been here for more than 8 years. The park has evolved over this time in keeping with its obvious Heritage. The amenities are clean and well maintained. The upgraded Camp Kitchen provides choices in cooking seen in very few parks anywhere. You have a choice of a BBQ, a Pizza Oven, a Hooded BBQ, Conventional oven and cook top as well as a microwave. The area provides inside tables and chairs as well as an Alfresco dining area overlooking Brown Hill Creek. The rates are good and the location provides easy access to all parts of Adelaide. The staff very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the cabin! After reading the review below about the cabin...had to question if we were in the same place! Living in qld, originally from sa, we holiday quite often. I've paid $75 per night in places across the country without the amenities that Brownhill Creek offered! The bed was comfy...the fridge although looked small fit quite a lot of food in it. Unlike most caravan parks....coat hangers are provided...as well as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream, hand wash and body lotion. The camp kitchen was amazing....and gave you the option of taking a large group of people away from the cabin into a huge space! Filtered water is also available at no cost. The office does close at 5.30, but as we knew we possible could be arriving late....we had a different after hours check in procedure to us....again no hassles! If you want to relax....come here! Wake up to the sounds of the birds chirping! We normally hire a house near the beach...but after staying here........we will return

We were travelling around SA in our swags and were in need of showers and a camp kitchen. We were close to this place and called in for an unpowered site. Even though we arrived after 5pm the hosts were friendly and pointed us in the direction of the local pub. The campground was nice and quiet and we had a great sleep.
