It is amazing to be in such an idyllic bush setting so close to Adelaide. You can be amongst large gums, koalas and peace, then within minutes be in the city of Adelaide. The cabin however was tired and old. Bathroom floor was almost breaking through. Needs a large investment. The playground is best suited to very young kids and the pool is build into granite rock making it very cold, even in summer. Common kitchen was very nice and newly developed.

What excellent space amongst the gum trees with native flora and fauna and good walks. Close to a good pub and near the suburbs but still in the bush. The owners are really decent people who were very fair and helpful. I'm torn because I dont want people to know about this place but also want them to be rewarded for going beyond the norm.

Only 10 k from CBD and you feel like you are a million miles away. Surrounded by beautfiul bush, birds a plenty and with fantastic amenities we can highly recommend this spot. e had a standard unit for 2 nights and found it really comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen, air con and a balcony with outside seating made for a pleasant stay. THe owners/ managers were super friendly and very helpful when i asked for local tips. For caravanners there are a number of drive thru sites also.

We took a deal for an ensuite site for our soft-floor camper trailer, same rate ($38) as powered site (we'd paid $37 in Wilcannia!), and had a beautiful position overlooking the creek with grass and ducks and koalas. We'd never had an ensuite before, but with rainy weather it was good to have facilities right next door and the ensuite was very roomy and good shower. Spacious sites, spacious park - even when full it didn't feel squashy at all. Variety of sites for tents, van, cabins too. Excellent laundry, we had lunch with a group of relatives in one of the outdoor areas with good facilities (no frig). Playground for kids, several good walks, lovely surroundings. Close to good shopping centres and an easy drive to Adelaide Hills, CBD museums/theatres/galleries, beaches. Very helpful and cheery staff. One of the best we've stayed in and thoroughly recommended.

Room Tip: Get a site overlooking the creek.

We stayed two weeks at Brownhill Creek Caravan park in January 2017, it was really pleasant. Probably one of the cheapest caravan park in Adelaide but you'll find everyting you need.
Staff is nice, you have a pool and it's really surrounded by nature and KOALAS !
We were staying in a tent, too bad there was no grass but rocks.
Commodities were clean.
Also the camp kitchen is a bit distant to the camping but it's all new, oven, fridge, TV, BBQ tables, you can enjoy a nice dinner outside on the terrace.
