“Nice Casino, Generous Comps, Cheaper Table Games”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2014

Although we did not stay in the hotel, The Resorts Tunica was one of our stops while exploring all the casinos in the area. The casino is not huge, but had bunches of slots and the table games were cheaper than anywhere we went. We played roulette for a couple of hours on a Tuesday afternoon for a minimum $3 bet. After presenting our players cards, we were entered into hourly drawings for the table games only and also when we were done, were rewarded with two comp buffets good for 24 hours. We came out winners on the roulette table that day which was a plus. The employees are all smiling and friendly, and the cocktail servers were frequent even though our time there was mid-week and during the day.

We returned the following day to have an early dinner at the buffet located upstairs. Although it is not as large as some of the other buffets around, it was well stocked for our early arrival. The servers and chefs were again smiling, friendly and eager to please. They had a small but nice soup and salad bar, a taco bar, hand carved roast beef, turkey and ham, a large selection of hot veggies, multiple selections of potato and rice dishes, chicken fried steak, pork chops, yummy fried chicken and iced down boiled shrimp and oysters. The desert bar was really nice with 3 flavors of ice cream, pies, cakes, cookies, cupcakes and even sugar free selections.

From our positive experience would highly recommend the Resorts Casino to try your luck! Be sure and get a players card because they are very generous with the food comps.

We thought it would be better, but we should have know when the desk would not let us see a room on a previous visit. The casino is fine, not as new as could be. The rooms are ok. They need to be updated and cleaned better. The housekeeper did not even make the bed right. Felt like we were sleeping in a short sheeted bed.
We might give it a try again if nothing else is open, but I bet not. The check in was strange. Check in is at 4, we got there at 5 and had to wait until 6 to get in. What's up with that?????????

Room Tip: Look for something else.

Our opinion was the following at Resorts in Tunica. This is a casino that needs refurbishing.
The food court was a so,so. Breakfast for $4.99 what can one expect. The main service counter was staffed and very up beat.
We like the idea of having to use the room card to get into the hallway after 7 p.m.

Room Tip: We were in a handy cap room. The only handy cap to the bathroom was hand rails. The toilet was the...

First let me say we did not stay in the hotel. Visited casino and ate at Big Burger. Casino was somewhat rundown and low class. Could not get any beverage even at a table. Went to eat at Big Burger,,,,,took forever to get order and no one else was there. The lady taking orders seemed to be doing the cooking as well. Did not finish burger as the taste was so bad. Also while we visited the Feb. promotion was playing tic tac toe with a chicken for 25 dollars free play.........we were there several hours and the line went on and on for this poor chicken to play tic tac toe inside a tiny glass box......ridicules!!!! Cannot believe this place would use a promotion that cheesy and weird. We will NOT be going to resorts again.

Hotel: rugs are worn but not thread bare. Tile grout in the bath/shower was clean and white, but around the tub the sealant was breaking down. The hinges and drawers of the TV/closet worked but the furniture is in need of refinishing. Bathroom sink had chips down to the black under basin. TV is SD, not HD. Room was dark even with all the lights on and the curtain open - but it was an overcast day.
Casino machines and tables are relatively new.
$4.99 breakfast is basic and very good: scrambled eggs (no eggs to order) bacon, sausage patties, grits, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, fried (but not greasy) potato pieces, waffles to order, yogurt. There may be fresh fruit, but never saw prepared fruit (sliced, diced, in a syrup).

They do have wonderful mailds, very, very, very, very nice rooms, very, very, very, very good foods but I hate to say this about the fish they do serve and I definitely do recommend all of you to stay away from eating their fish because it is hard as a rock that I couldn't even eat at all period (100) percent. They no longer have root beer to drink but they do have pepsi to drink. They have changed alot of slots machines at the Resorts Casinos and at the Bally's Casino. My Mom and I just now got our 1st FREE ROOMS AT THE BALLY'S HOTEL IN TUNICA FINALLY!!!!!!! WE ALSO GOT A FREE ROOM AT THE RESORTS HOTEL IN TUNICA!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and sunny

I stayed here on Oct 12th. They had a concert going on, and the place was pretty full. This has to be the nicest property in the Tunica area. Very large hotel and casino. They just opened up a new buffet which must be excellent, because there was around a hundred people standing in line at all times. Bar service was quick and they had several TV's for watching college football.

This place was very clean, and even though there were a lot of smokers, the place didn't seem smoky at all. I stayed on a non-smoking floor and had no issues.

I will definitely be coming back to visit this casino.
