Only good things at this newish Hampton on south edge of town. (but not better than 'brand-promise' to get a 5-score) All will enjoy & Hampton regulars will find familiar comfort in the "latest version" of the typical Hampton: High-ceiling, contemporary, large dinning lobby, waffle&other 'hot' brkfst items; rooms with great beds, nice bathrooms, TVs, and can actually tune-in some stations on clock/radio. Constant-fan setting for white-noise sleep on wall thermostat controller. Hotel feels <2 years old. HOWEVER, beware of limited dining options – especially arriving after 8~9pm. Front desk recommended “Old Towne Grill…” that was behind hotel housed within the Mossy Oak retail mall complex, no more than 45~90sec walk from hotel. Old Town Grill (seemed okay) turned me away as was ~9pm, closing time. Asked local staff for alternatives. Could only come-up with fast food & local Mexican place (La Fiesta Mexican Grill) apparently open ‘til 10pm – was desolate @ 9:05. Was not in mood to experiment with unknown, but now regret as reviews seem good. Grudgingly settled for drive-thru Wendy’s (lobby closed). Ouch. Enjoy hotel but don’t miss dinner. BTW - newish walmart ~1 min drive south of hotel for resupply.
