Excellent accommodation and location. Everything we needed for a long weekend away. Would definitely book again.
We stayed here for a long weekend, nice location and big enough for the group of 5 that we were.
The downstairs/disabled bathroom shower is the wet room type but unfortunately doesn't drain particularly well, maybe suitable for a very very quick shower.
The bedrooms are very comfy and warm, slightly odd there are no tvs in them as the plug and ariel sockets are there :-/
The kitchen is very well equipped and pleasant.
We found that the stable Doors although very pretty don't actually close properly either. The family bathroom also has cracked floor tiles in front of the sink which is a shame as the finish is obviously meant to be exceptionally high.
Overall a nice place to stay and could be excellent but let down by a few little finishing touches.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Coach House. Roy couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. Having milk, ice, tea and coffee stocked when we arrived was a huge help as we were planning on eating most meals with family who lived nearby so did not want to do a lot of food shopping. The Coach House is very nicely appointed offering very comfortable accommodation for 7. We were a family of 4, that enjoyed the extra space. Even with my sister staying for one night we still had plenty of room. It was a particularly hot few days so the upstairs did get rather warm. Roy provided us with two portable air con units which we did not end up using but it was kind of him to think of this. Sleeping with the windows wide open helped cool the upper rooms but it was not ideal. The great weather allowed us to sit out and enjoy the beautiful walled garden. My daughter particularly enjoyed meeting all of Roy's cats and dogs who were very friendly. Overall a lovely stay in a delightful setting. Would definitely stay here again and reccommend it whole-heartedly.

Had a wonderful stay at The Coach House. First class facilities all lovely and modern with good parking for vehicles. Will definately come back again, just to see the three legged cat!!
A lovely spacious house with a beautiful walled garden. Everything in this property has been done to an extremely high standard. The owner is also very friendly and helpful.

What a fantastic place to stay. The property is a new barn conversion offering accommodation for 7 people. Whilst very adjacent to the owners property, we were still very much on our own.
There are two main rooms downstairs, a large kitchen / dinning room well equipped with all necessary appliances. Kitchen also fully armed with all cooking, cutlery and dishware.
Lounge with tow large sofas and armchairs, tv with DVD and a good sound system.
One bedroom downstairs sleeps one but ideal for anyone lacking mobility, adjacent wet room and toilet. Also downstairs separate toilet.
Upstairs are 3 spacious bedrooms 2 with en-suite and one with adjacent toilet/shower/bathroom.
Outside is a lovely large walled garden with seating and BBQ. Parking for at least 3 cars.
Situated in the village of Hill Ridware just north of Litchfield. The village has a small general store and a pub with Cantonese restaurant. The best place to eat locally though is 2 miles up the road in Abbots Bromley where you are spoilt for choice.
We found the week a really relaxing wind down week, just chilling out with friends and family.
Highly recommended

The Coach House was perfect - all mod cons that you need, comfortable beds, great linen, towels and toiletries. The kitchen was really well equipped. Roy, the owner, was friendly and super informative. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others as we couldn't fault it
