We totally loved this place...where to start???? Ok, the Hobbit hole is the cutest accomodation you could ever wish for- lovely comfy bed, beautiful surroundings- utterly charming. Margaret is the hostest with the mostest- her cheery manner and helpful directions were most useful. Breakfast was delightful and delicious in the lovely conservatory, she really has gone the extra mile!!! Margaret arranged for us to have dinner at the Upton Inn in nearby West Tyning which was excellent too. The area is also a great base to explore the beautiful city of Bath just a few minutes away. Our only regret was not staying longer- thank you!!!!

Stayed for one night on our way to Glastonbury festival. We received a lovely warm welcome, the hobbit was beautifully constructed and thoughtfully decorated. Its hidden away in the garden and very romantic as a result. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely flawless!
The Hobbit Hole was not only lovely and comfortable, it was also a delightful novelty. It's set in a beautiful garden, and the main house as well is also a delight. Margaret is unimpeachably friendly and helpful, and also has exquisite taste in decor. I can't fault it. Come and stay!

We had such a fantastic stay in the 'Hobbit Hole', which was booked as a surprise for my birthday. We were given access to the house with our own shower room and guest lounge area. The bed was extremely comfortable and we woke up to an amazing champagne breakfast that was waiting for us on a table outside. Margaret did absolutely everything to make us feel comfortable and we would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for something a little bit different!

WE booked to stay here as we were going to a wedding nearby. We arrived in between the wedding ceremony and reception. We got a lovely warm reception from Margaret who had already been very helpful via email and were shown our rooms. We discussed what time we would have breakfast and left again for the Wedding reception. After a very comfortable night's sleep n the beautiful garden room we woke to the gorgeous view of part of the stunning garden surrounding the house, and then took in more as we sat in the conservatory breakfast room for our delicious breakfast. I would have liked to have more time there but we had to leave straight after. The house is very well equipped for guests with a separate lounge with books games tv etc
I wouldnt hesitate tor ecommend this place and hope to go back one day
