We stopped here for lunch as we were traveling through. The Iron Horse was a spur-of-the-moment decision based on the sign before the exit. It far exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was calming, welcoming, and fun. The food was delicious. The prices were appropriate and the pie was exceptional. We also walked through the attached Bed and Breakfast and found it sweet and interesting. The antiques are so fun!
I highly recommend stopping into this lovely place!

Limited menu but the service and food were excellent. This place is just beautiful and if you are in the area, drop in. This is also an excellent alternative to the restaurants in Arrow Rock.

So if you are going to Arrow Rock, you should make this as part of your trip. Also, this is really close to I-70 off of exit 98. When there, you think you are out in the middle of no where.

We stopped by on a whim for lunch after seeing a sign on the highway and it was well worth the trip! The Iron Horse hotel is a very beautiful, historic property; its dining room has a great atmosphere as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

The food took a little while to come out, but it tasted amazing once it came. I ordered the Monte Cristo, and my wife got the chicken salad sandwich (on a croissant). We will definitely be stopping by next time we travel on I-70!
