We usually stay at The Chateau on the Lake but they were full for our vacation week and recommended the Lodges. I'm so glad they did. We couldn't be any more pleased with the place. We stayed in the Pine Lodge and it was amazing and so clean and comfortable. We did not want to leave. We thought the pricing was great compared to what we would of paid for a room at the Chateau. We will definitely be staying at the Lodges at Timber Ridge again!!!!

Excellent service, excellent family fun! We stayed at the Lodges at Timber Ridge Branson and enjoyed the property. Our 6 year old loved the splashatorium! OK.... so did we! lol Lots of activities we especially like the sundae making and tie dying t-shirts and the cannon ball contest! :) We loved having a full kitchen for our breakfast on the patio. We will be going back in October to do it again!! Loved it!

We stayed in the Lodge portion of the Welk Resort in the one bedroom side of a two bedroom lock-off unit. The condo was beautiful and everything looked brand new. It is very spacious (820 Sq Ft) and comfortable. The granite kitchen is stocked with everything you might need including paper towels, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, starter coffee packs, salt and pepper, etc. Many time share units aren't always equipped with these things. There also had plenty of dishes, pans, etc. There is also a stackable washer/dryer and ironing board with iron. They even provided four beach towels!

The bathroom is huge and has dual vanities. There is a walk-in shower with dual shower heads as well as a rain shower head. There is also a large whirlpool tub in the bedroom. Separating the tub from the bed area is a three-sided gas fireplace. The king bed is very comfortable with nice linens. We also enjoyed the ceiling fan. There is a flat screened TV and DVD player. There is access to a lovely over-sized balcony from the bedroom as well as the living room where there is a table and chairs and well as two large rockers!

The living room has a nice gas log fireplace with a large TV mounted on the wall above the fireplace. Couch is large and comfortable. The decor is rustic with large log beams and very tastefully done. There is also a ceiling fan in the living room.

There is a table with two chairs and a comfortable cushioned double bench in the dining area. There is also a breakfast bar with two stools.

Our only complaint, if you can consider it one, is that all the bulbs in the lamps were only 60 watts. My husband needs higher wattage bulbs for reading and they didn't have them. Problem easily solved with a trip to Wal-Mart.

The Splash-a-torium provides hours of fun for kids of all ages. The pool is an indoor/outdoor pool and there is a large splash area. The indoor water slide was fun for everyone from younsters to grandparents! There is a mini-golf and another smaller outdoor pool. We were the only ones at that pool!

We have stayed in six different resorts using our timeshare exchange. We would rank this one the best and would definitely return again!

Room Tip: We requested a no steps unit. The entrance from the parking lot is for the second floor. We never heard any noise from the people above us or the people next to us. We stayed in Elm Lodge but I would request Cedar or Pine because there is a pretty pond behind those buildings so the view from the balcony is nice. However, we could see hills from our balcony.

The only negatives I can think of with the Lodges at Timber Ridge/Welk Resort are it is pricey and the property is more like a typical condo complex than a "resort". Having said that, I thought everything else was great. I was only there for barely two nights and didn't get to take full advantage of the property, but what I did see was nice. I had a one bedroom condo with kitchenette and it worked out great. It was a decent size, well laid-out and was well decorated and clean. The room had an upscale rustic feel to it. The splashatorium was much better than the typical hotel pool and my family enjoyed it. It seemed like they offered lots of activities (some free, some not), although we didn't try any since we didn't have time. But it looked like they tried to keep the kids busy if that's what you're looking for.

Today is the last day of our vacation with our 8 yr old grandson at the Welk Resort. It has been a wonderful week. It is very family welcome with tons of things to do for everyone. Our grandson loves the splash-a-torium. He would be happy going down that big water slide all day. It is close to everything but not crazy like the strip. We come every year but from now on will stay in the Lodges. I like having a kitchen for breakfast and lunch. It's a really fun place to stay.
