I'm writing this while i'm here as this is my second week, staying in a 2 bedroom cottage spacious and well appointed, well stocked .all cottages where we are. built into a mountain great views, not crowded, space between each unit parking right in front of your cottage, daily activities and nice restaurant onsite ,very close to shows but secluded so no noise after dark. had problem with dishwasher called front desk handled immediately. built on theme of cape cod fishing village very colorful, my unit was 2 story, both bedrooms huge king beds master on second level,tv in both bedrooms and living room. at first it was a little intimidating getting there as it is hilly and curvy but after a couple of trips in and out no problem.will definitely stay here again it's gorgeous and tranquill
Holly, thank you for this fantastic review! We are thrilled to hear you have enjoyed your time at Stormy Point Village and we look forward to you making us your home away from home. Enjoy your remaining time with us and we will see you again soon!
I had the pleaser of staying at this property during my visit here in Branson, Mo. The site was very clean, welcoming, and just like home. The lake view surrounding the property during the Christmas Holiday made this trip worthwhile.
We are so happy that you enjoyed your holiday with us! Thank you for taking time to leave such a great review. We hope to see you again soon.
The building is brand new and nicely decorated, but the quality is low and I wouldn't expect the finishes and furniture to look nice in a year or two. In fact, the sound on the cheap TVs was already going out. There was literally no one else staying in the building, ours was the only car in the lot, and yet they put us in a ground level unit with no view. They missed a great opportunity to show us a nice unit and give us a sales pitch. They didn't seem interested in us at all. They even asked us to start the dishwasher before leaving, like we were inconvenient house guests. The restaurant on property was convenient with good live music.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We have looked into the concerns that you brought to our attention. We would love to have the opportunity to discuss these with you. You can reach our Resort Manager at 417.338.1820, she is looking forward to speaking with you soon!
This is a brand new area for Stormy Point and these rooms are nice. It is actually not within the gated section so you do not have ready access to the "amenities" like the pools, restaurants, entertainment, etc.
We rented a two room condo, which are divided by two doors. So there are two outside doors, because each side can be rented out separately as one bedroom facilities or as one - two bedroom facility. When we arrived, we did not have access to the second room - we had to call to have someone let us in because our key only let us into one door.
They gave us the "first floor", which you actually have to go down to get to because it is built on a hill. There is absolutely NO access to cellular down there except on the patio. Oh, and the patio looks out onto the septic system. There is no landscaping - just rocks and weeds.
It is close to the lake but you can not see it without going down to the boat ramp about 100 yards away, which is not a bad walk. It is very quiet, which is nice because we did come to get away from a hectic, busy life. We had to listen to the "90 minute" talk, which is NOT 90 minutes but we did get some cheaper priced tickets for a couple of shows for it.
All in all, not a bad place to stay because it is very clean and new but just not worth what we paid.
Went with my daughter and grandsons. When you arrive you think your staying at a Cape Cod village, very colorful and well maintained. These are two story homes with 1,2,3 and more bedrooms, living room, furnished kitchen, 2 baths (one with whirlpool), washer and dryer, small back porch, and sofa that folds out for a bed. Everyone was nice and helpful when we checked into this gated community. There is a different dinner served each evening and a pizza, hamburger, chicken menu that can be ordered poolside. There is a heated indoor/outdoor pool with a full bar..very clean. In addition there is a nice size playground and an outdoor water park in warmer weather. There is no daily housekeeping like a hotel, but you can call in mid-week for a change of towels. There were several children and the grandsons enjoyed having others their own age to play with! We love our stay and plan to come back. If I have to have one downer, it would be that the upstairs king bed is due a new mattress
