I rented three two bedrooms condos that will sleep six, with a sleeper sofa. They were all clean, furnished nicely and met my family of 14's needs for the four nights. They were adequately stocked with kitchen cookware, dishes and such. Linens were nice and clean. I used the washer and dryer once to launder towels and kitchen cloths and towels. Bring your own laundry soap. There were not enough trash bags and they were very flimsy, so bring your own. The stove refrigerator and dishwasher were nice. Christmas decorations were up and a small tree which made it even more nice.
The only problems we had were the following: my condo in the master bath and bedroom had the smell of a medicine antibiotic of some kind. Not too strong but I definitely smelled it. My daughters condo had the hot water breaker trip twice. The first night they didn't have any hot water sine we arrived after 7:00. The maintenance man came the next morning and unlocked the breaker box and re-set it. He left it unlocked in case it tripped again, which it did, but they didn't realize it until it was time to shower and go to bed again. It took it awhile to re-heat of course. He said we would get a discount for our inconvenience but I'm not sure we did. My son's condo had a very musty smell in he master bedroom as if there had been a water leak or TV overflow. He has asthma and they all have allergies so that was not a good thing. We also requested a boat slip for my son in laws boat and that worked out well. Other than that the Village is great. I love the arrangement of the resort. The employees were very nice and helpful. I would stay there again. Very close to Silver Doll City and you miss a lot of the heavy traffic driving from this location during the holidays. The Village was decorated for Christmas and very welcoming.
